Each component may be a modular blender component mounted to respective independent frames. The independent frames are configured to be independently removable, replaceable and movable to multiple positions in the blender system. In some aspects the multi-blender system can operate at different sand concentrations, instantaneously adjust flow rate to one or more of the components in either blender unit, provide control redundancy, and may continue to operate despite a failure of one of the major components.
Methods for preparation of gelatin-based products
A device for preparing a gelatin-based product may include a mix tank, a mix pod that is fluidly coupled to the mix tank via a pod spike, and a hot water tank, where the hot water tank is coupled to the mix pod via the pod spike. In at least one example, the pod spike may include an outer tube and an inner tube. In one or more examples, the pod spike of the device may include a hub, where a first end of the outer tube is coupled to the hub. Further, in some examples, a first end of the inner tube may also be coupled to the hub.

MUD MIXING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A system and method for mud mixing using a container to hold a joint compound and the water. The container having a lid to keep the container shut and preventing the liquids from escaping wherein the container may then be shaken by the user to mix the joint compound with the water. The user then may remove lid and pull on a rod and plate connected to one another at the bottom of holding container. Rod and plate act as a pressure seal, whereby when the rod is pulled all of the mud may be removed from the container and placed into a pan for use.
METHOD FOR MONITORING AND CONTROLLING THE OPERATION OF A FLOW GENERATOR
The invention relates to a method for monitoring and controlling the operation of a liquid flow generator (1) configured for operation in a tank (18) housing in a liquid comprising solid matter. The flow generator (1) comprises a propeller (3) and a main body (7) having a drive unit (4), wherein a control unit (4) is operatively connected to the flow generator (1) in order to monitor and control the operation of the flow generator (1), the method comprises the steps of: a) driving the propeller (3) in a normal direction of rotation, wherein the liquid flow is directed from an upstream side of the propeller (3) towards a downstream side of the propeller (3), wherein the main body (7) is located at the upstream side of the propeller (3), b) performing a cleaning sequence in response to a main body cleaning signal, wherein the cleaning sequence comprises the steps of: i) stopping the propeller (3) from rotating in the normal direction of rotation, ii) driving the propeller (3) in a reverse direction of rotation, wherein the liquid flow is directed from the downstream side of the propeller (3) towards the upstream side of the propeller (3) and along the main body (7) in order to remove any solid matter accumulated on the main body (7), and iii) stopping the propeller (3) from rotating in the reverse direction of rotation, c) resume driving of the propeller (3) in the normal direction of rotation.
PROPPANT CONCENTRATION ACCURACY IN A FRACTURING FLUID BY COMPENSATING FOR PROPPANT MOISTURE
A method of determining a dry proppant concentration in a fracturing fluid includes combining a wet proppant with a carrier fluid in a mixer to form the fracturing fluid. The dry proppant concentration of the fracturing fluid leaving the mixer is determined using a moisture content of the wet proppant entering the mixer, wherein use of the moisture content prevents overestimation of the dry proppant concentration. The method can be preformed using a system for injecting fracturing fluid into a borehole, the fracturing fluid including a carrier fluid mixed with a wet proppant including a dry proppant dampened with a dampening liquid. The system includes a mixer operable to receive and mix the carrier fluid and the wet proppant to form the fracturing fluid, a frac pump operable to inject the fracturing fluid into the borehole, and a control system comprising a processor operable to receive a moisture content of the wet proppant before being mixed with the carrier fluid and programmed to determine a dry proppant concentration of the fracturing fluid formed in the mixer using a moisture content of the wet proppant, wherein use of the moisture content prevents overestimation of the dry proppant concentration.
