LARGE SCALE MIXING SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS
The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, a mixing system that includes a heating assembly configured to heat liquid, and a mixing assembly including a tank defining a cavity and configured to retain liquid, an inlet in fluidic communication with the cavity and configured to receive liquid from the heating assembly, a mixing impeller assembly configured to mix contents of the cavity, an actuator configured to actuate the mixing impeller assembly to mix contents of the cavity, and an outlet in fluidic communication with the cavity and having a valve configured to selectively prevent and permit egress of contents of the cavity.
Kneading and mixing device for impacted consumer foodstuff
Kneading and mixing device for manipulation of impacted consumer foodstuff media in combination with a powered hand drill or equivalent. An elongate shaft and a small diameter distally attached disc of formed curvatures keep initially engaged media within its own mechanical sweep until guided to media not yet engaged. A spiraling downward media flow about the shaft to the submerged disc occurs after impaction softening, this flow utilizing media cohesiveness to keep the shaft clear of flinging and clumping media. The disc presents a smooth circle in planform, allowing safe high speed contact to a glass jar wall while presenting a safer rotating consumer device. The consumer is free of concerns for jar height, jar mouth sizes, and custom fitting lids. Eliminated are unreachable jar bottom areas, the difficulty of integrating semi-solid impacted layers, flinging media from the shaft during use, and time consuming cleaning of clumping media.
Vertically moving horizontal mixer assembly with high efficiency blade and stator design
A vertically moving horizontal mixer assembly which includes a tank having an axis. A stator and blade support assembly is movable parallel to the tank axis. At least one rotatable blade substantially perpendicular to the tank axis is moveable parallel to the tank axis. The rotating blade may be a flat circular disk with raised tooth edges perpendicular to the disk around the circumference of the blade. An optional stator also directs and encourages movement and mixing of solids with liquids.
