Methods for Mixing a Fluid with Foldable Impellers
A method of mixing a fluid includes at least partially unfolding a collapsible bag bounding a compartment, the collapsible bag containing in the compartment at least a portion of an elongated drive line or drive shaft and an impeller secured to the drive line or drive shaft, the impeller including a plurality of impeller blades that are pivotable relative to the drive line or drive shaft, at least one of the plurality of impeller blades being in a collapsed position. A fluid is delivered into the compartment of the collapsible bag. The drive line or drive shaft is then rotated so as to rotate the impeller within the compartment and mix the fluid therein, the at least one of the plurality of impeller blades pivoting from the collapsed position to an expanded position as the impeller is rotated within the compartment.
Fluid mixing system with flexible drive line and foldable impeller
A fluid mixing system includes a container, such as a flexible bag, bounding a compartment. A flexible drive line is disposed within the compartment, the drive line having a first end rotatably connected to a first end of the container and an opposing second end rotatably connected to a second end of the container. At least one mixing element, such as an impeller, is coupled with the flexible drive line. Rotation of the drive line facilitates rotation of the impeller within the container.
Stirring mill
A stirring mill, including a horizontally arranged milling vessel and a stirring shaft which is arranged therein so that it can be rotationally driven are provided. The stirring shaft has a first stirring shaft section adjacent to an inlet for material to be ground, which has a smaller diameter D24, and a second stirring shaft section adjacent to an outlet for material to be ground, which has a larger diameter D25 and in which a separating device is formed. Bypass channels leading into the separating device are formed in the first stirring shaft section.

Receptacle comprising a shaft housing
A receptacle has a wall defining a receptacle interior and a shaft housing for guiding a shaft through the wall into the receptacle interior. The shaft housing defines an annular cap with spaced apart inner and outer walls connected by an inner end face facing the receptacle interior. A shaft guide part has an end facing the receptacle interior and an outer surface that defines a gap relative to the inner wall of the shaft housing. The shaft guide part has an annular wall spaced apart from and parallel to its outer surface. The annular wall extends over the free end of the inner wall of the shaft housing and is sealed to the inner and outer walls of the shaft housing by at least one seal each. The shaft guide part is mounted in the shaft housing by a radial ball bearing and by an axial ball bearing.

AGITATOR DEVICE
The invention relates to an agitator device having a static unit and a rotational unit which is in the form of an agitator shaft and, in an assembled state, forms together with the static unit at least one common fluid channel for a fluid. It is proposed that a flow cross-section of the fluid channel, viewed along a main course of flow, is at least substantially constant at least in a coupling region between the static unit and the rotational unit.
