A handheld apparatus for mixing food product comprising a manual input and a drive structure comprising a drive input, wherein the manual input is operatively connected to the drive input to actuate the drive means, the drive means further comprising first and second drive outputs operatively coupled to the drive input and being arranged to simultaneously rotate the first drive output in a first direction and rotate the second drive output in a second direction and rotate both drive outputs in the second direction about the central axis of the apparatus, such that the number of revolutions completed by the first drive output is less than the number of revolutions completed by the second drive output each time the drive outputs complete a revolution about the central axis.

The present invention relates to a hand mixer having a heat activation function. The heat activation function preferably allows a user to heat ingredients that are to be mixed by a hand mixer. The hand mixer may include a cavity that has each of a fan, a motor to drive the fan, heated coils, and an output area or mouth. When a user wishes to activate the heating function to soften ingredients in a bowl or other vessel to be mixed, he or she may use a controller to activate the fan and blow air through the heated coils and out from the output area toward the ingredients to be mixed and/or mixing devices used to mix the ingredients, so that the ingredients may be softened.

The invention also relates to a process of producing a dental restoration using dental milling block obtainable according to this process.

Provided is a mixing apparatus. The mixing apparatus comprises a housing defining a primary chamber, an inlet for receiving material into the mixing apparatus, as well as an outlet for discharging material from the mixing apparatus. The motor powers both the first auger and second auger. Further, the second auger may rotate in a first rotational direction and a second rotational direction and the second auger substantially prevents material from exiting a dispensing conduit when the second auger rotates in the first rotational direction and the second auger distributes material through the dispensing conduit when the second auger rotates in the second rotational direction.
