BIDIRECTIONAL FLUTED AUGER
An apparatus can include a hollow tube, central shaft, agitation components, and bidirectional fluted auger. The hollow tube can have an inlet, outlet, and longitudinal central axis, and can facilitate the conveyance of foodstuff materials from the inlet to the outlet. The central shaft can extend along the longitudinal axis and can be rotationally driven both clockwise and counterclockwise. The agitation components can be coupled to the central shaft and can agitate and mix foodstuff materials being conveyed along the hollow tube. The bidirectional fluted auger can be coupled to the central shaft proximate the outlet, can rotate with the central shaft when the central shaft is rotationally driven, and can have a flow rate limiting inner cylinder, clockwise-progressing flute features, and counterclockwise-progressing flute features. The clockwise and counterclockwise progressing flute features can convey foodstuff materials toward the outlet when the bidirectional fluted auger is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise.

An aqueous accelerator is mixed with the aqueous binder composition in a mixer shortly before the application. The method is very robust and makes it possible to quickly produce even large moulded bodies having a uniform surface and very good strength development properties.

A granular coating conveyor system for coating granular particles carried in compartments along a tubular conveyor member. Coating fluid is fed over the granular particles through radial nozzles located inside a co-axial rotating blender with tubular member upstream discharge port and tubular member downstream return ingress port for the granular particles. The blender is a drum having a helicoidal spiral screw integrally mounted to an interior peripheral wall face of the drum and extending therealong radially outwardly of the tubular member mixing in the drum in tumbling fashion the granular particles with coating fluid and guiding same therealong, so as to dynamically form a kidney shape mass of granular particles.

Composition of Biodegradable Plant Fiber Raw Material Grains, and Production Method Thereof
Raw material grains according to the present invention comprise, as components, 40 to 60% plant fiber powder, 20 to 30% starch, 10 to 20% vegetable gum powder obtained by fermenting starch, 2 to 15% water-soluble polymer glue, and 1 to 10% water-soluble cellulose derivative. The production process thereof primarily includes: a step of appropriately adjusting blending ratios in accordance with the production method, rotating and kneading for 10-40 minutes the fiber powder, starch, and vegetable gum powder, each in a separate kneader, and then batch stirring and kneading all of the blending components in a fourth kneader to thereby obtain a raw material; and a step of subsequently molding the mixed raw material into a plurality of strands in a molding device, cutting the strands into granular raw material grains via a cutting unit, cooling the raw material grains, and then packaging a raw material grain product.
PASSIVATION OF FILTER RESIDUES
A passivation device for passivating filter residues of a filter device arranged in a process gas circuit of an additive manufacturing apparatus includes a reaction unit having an inlet suitable for supplying an oxidant, a coupling unit adapted to be coupled to the filter device for introducing filter residues into the reaction unit, a discharge unit suitable for discharging passivated filter residues from the reaction unit, and an energy supply unit suitable for effecting a reaction between the filter residues and the oxidant in the reaction unit.

A passivation device for passivating filter residues of a filter device arranged in a process gas circuit of an additive manufacturing apparatus includes a reaction unit having an inlet suitable for supplying an oxidant, a coupling unit adapted to be coupled to the filter device for introducing filter residues into the reaction unit, a discharge unit suitable for discharging passivated filter residues from the reaction unit, and an energy supply unit suitable for effecting a reaction between the filter residues and the oxidant in the reaction unit.
Material Spreader Bucket for Loaders
A loader bucket has material spreaders on opposing sides of the loader bucket to spread material from within the loader bucket received through discharge openings in the rear wall of the bucket from an auger located in the bottom of the bucket. Each material spreader includes a spinner formed with blades to spread the material received through the discharge openings. The material spreaders are positioned below the apex of the V-shaped bucket and operable within a path of distribution that includes an interior boundary member oriented with a forward end closer to the center of the bucket than the rearward end to provide a distribution forwardly and laterally of the bucket. A low baffle mounted at the bottom periphery of the spinner blades forces material upwardly into a fluffy pattern. A high baffle provides a second boundary limit for the distribution of material.
Agitation control system
The controller that receives at least one sensor signal indicative of a measured profile of a particulate material within a storage tank of an agricultural system. The controller also determines whether a variation between the measured profile and a target profile is greater than a threshold value. The controller outputs a first output signal to a user interface indicative of instructions to inform an operator of a profile variation, outputs a second output signal to an agitator indicative of activation of the agitator, or a combination thereof, in response to determining that the variation between the measured profile and the target profile is greater than the threshold value.
