A self-balancing adapter for use with a mixer, the adapter having a body configured to interface with the mixer as a unit, the body having a front and a back, left and right edges, a top and a bottom, and a vertical axis passing through the top and the bottom, where the front has at least a first recess configured to receive and hold a first vessel substantially within the body; and the adapter having at least one movable counterweight configured to be displaced when the first vessel is received in the first recess such that the movable weight at least partially offsets a weight of the first vessel within the body with respect to the vertical axis.

A method for mixing fluids in containers may include performing a mixing procedure on a plurality of containers on a container support, at least a portion of the plurality of containers being differently sized. The mixing procedure may include a plurality of mixing phases, wherein in each mixing phase the container support may be subjected to a mixing motion at a single rate for a period of time of about 5 seconds or longer, and wherein the single rate for at least one mixing phase of the plurality of mixing phases may differ from the single rate for at least one other mixing phase of the plurality of mixing phases. The mixing procedure also may include at least one non-mixing phase, wherein the container support may not be subjected to the mixing motion.

A mixing device for cylindrical jars, the device having two drive rollers and two guide rollers extending upward from a housing and through a top surface of the housing. The rear end of the top surface has a stop member. The drive rollers on one side of the jar and the guide rollers on an opposite side of the jar are mounted on axles positioned in the interior of the housing, wherein the axles slant downward 2 to 45 degrees from the front end to the rear end of the housing. A motor and transmission in the housing are connected operatively to the drive rollers. The drive rollers will rotate the jar at least 5 RPM with the jar tilted downward. An aerosol can mixer system includes an aerosol mixer device with a stem perpendicularly connected to a base, a housing integrally connected to the base on a side opposite the connection of the stem and at least one magnet connected to either the base or the housing. The at least one magnet is configured to releasably secure an aerosol can within the device. The stem is mounted to the base and is configured to be received by a handheld electrical device to permit rotating and mixing contents of the aerosol can.

An aerosol can mixer system includes an aerosol mixer device with a stem perpendicularly connected to a base, a housing integrally connected to the base on a side opposite the connection of the stem and at least one magnet connected to either the base or the housing. The at least one magnet is configured to releasably secure an aerosol can within the device. The stem is mounted to the base and is configured to be received by a handheld electrical device to permit rotating and mixing contents of the aerosol can.

A system for dispensing individual servings of a beverage, said system comprising: a beverage receptacle holder adapted for retaining a beverage receptacle; a plurality of dry formulation beverage mixtures; selection means for selecting one or more of said beverage mixtures for said beverage; dispensing means for measuring an individual serving quantity of said selected one or more beverage mixtures and for depositing said individual serving quantity into said beverage receptacle; fluid dispensing module for depositing an individual serving quantity of a selected fluid into said beverage receptacle; means for sealing said beverage receptacle; and means for mixing said individual serving quantity of said beverage mixture and said fluid to provide a mixed beverage for dispensing.
