Apparatus and method for homogenizing a food product
Described herein is a mixing apparatus for mixing a non-homogenized food product contained within a container. The apparatus includes a housing including a first end wall, a second end wall, and a top wall that at least partially define a cavity of the housing. The apparatus also includes a pair of rollers extending from the first end wall to the second end wall and coupled to the housing such that each roller is rotatable relative to the housing. The apparatus also includes a motor positioned in the cavity and enclosed within the housing, the motor operatively coupled to a first roller of the pair of rollers and configured to drive the first roller to rotate for rotating the container, and a battery positioned in the cavity and enclosed within the housing, the battery operatively coupled to the motor to provide power thereto to drive the first roller.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A PLANAR DRIVE SYSTEM AND PLANAR DRIVE SYSTEM
This application provides a method for controlling a planar drive system, where the planar drive system comprises at least a controller, a stator module having a stator surface, and a rotor that may is positionable and movable on the stator surface. The method comprises positioning an object on a rotor in a first arrangement state of the object in a positioning step, carrying out an accelerating movement of a defined movement pattern of the rotor; and, by the accelerating movement, arranging the object positioned on the rotor in the first arrangement state in a second arrangement state relative to the rotor, in an arranging step. The application further provides a planar drive system.
Dispensing machine and related method for preparing a user-defined formulation by dispensing fluid products
A dispensing machine for dispensing fluid products comprising a dispensing zone (15) in which elongated support means (12) are disposed, configured to support a plurality of removable containing units (11) of the fluid products in a stationary manner along a longitudinal axis (X) is disclosed. The dispensing zone (15) further includes translation means (20) configured to allow moving a receptacle (18) positioned on a metering unit and disposed on the translation means (20) substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction (X) to delivery positions substantially vertically below said containing units (11) and measurement means (16) configured to meter a quantity of fluid product that is delivered from a containing unit (11) to the receptacle (18) in a delivery position corresponding to the respective containing unit. Also disclosed is the use of such dispensing machine for preparing customized formulations of fluid products as well as a method for preparing user-defined target formulation from a plurality of dispensable fluid products.
Pressurized container including flowable product and non-soluble propellant
A pressurized container assembly includes a pressurized container, a valve, and a shearing chamber. A flowable product and propellant are also provided within the container. The propellant is substantially non-soluble in the flowable product. Methods of producing a foamed flowable product using shearing chambers are also disclosed.
Retort agitation system and method
A system for agitating products in a retort includes a clamping assembly configured to selectively impose a first clamping force on a first end of at least one product carrier and a second opposing clamping force on a second end of the at least one product carrier, and a reciprocating assembly configured to apply linear forces on the product carriers for reciprocal movement of the product carriers along the retort. A method of processing products in a retort includes arranging products in at least one product carrier for movement along a retort and reciprocating the at least one product carrier along the retort in a non-sinusoidal pattern of movement.
MUD MIXING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A system and method for mud mixing using a container to hold a joint compound and the water. The container having a lid to keep the container shut and preventing the liquids from escaping wherein the container may then be shaken by the user to mix the joint compound with the water. The user then may remove lid and pull on a rod and plate connected to one another at the bottom of holding container. Rod and plate act as a pressure seal, whereby when the rod is pulled all of the mud may be removed from the container and placed into a pan for use.

Bioreactor assembly
The present invention relates to a bioreactor assembly comprising a plurality of trays (30) for holding a cell culture bag, a holder (2) on which the trays are mounted side by side to form a first series of trays rocking mechanism (4) for rocking the trays, the rocking mechanism (4) being operatively connected to each of the trays (30). The invention also relates to a bioreactor system (100) comprising at least one bioreactor assembly.
Reagent Mixer and Fluid Control Devices
An apparatus for preparing a reagent solution includes an enclosure and a container disposed within the enclosure. The container defines an internal cavity having a compressible volume and defines a passage providing fluidic communication between the internal cavity and the exterior of the container. Optionally, a compressible member is disposed within the internal cavity. A reagent is disposed within the internal cavity.
