Method and Device for Laboratory Formulation and Chemical Vending
An automatic chemical solution formulating device combines and mixes stored solids and liquids into user specified formulations and dispenses those formulations into containers. Chemical solids are stored in cartridges of material separated into predetermined dosages (for example in reeled blister packs), avoiding the need for weighing during formulation. Elements include user interface, computer-controlled automated loading and unloading port for reagent-containing cartridges, cartridge conveyor system, reader for identifying cartridges, blister-pack strip drive system, punching mechanism to release reagents, portioning chamber to mix solvent with solids or liquids with optional portioning, accommodating formulation delivery port, position sensors, liquid flow measuring devices, liquid and gas pumps and valves, and label printer. The combination of these elements allows high-speed formulation and dispensing of user-specified formulations.
Method and device with interface for manufacturing a customised product
A method and device with an interface for manufacturing a customised product by mixing. The present invention concerns a device for manufacturing a customised product, and preferably a customised cosmetic product, by mixing at least two components housed in respective containers, at least one of the containers being a capsule (103), and at least one other container being a pot (11) comprising a nozzle, preferably a pump nozzle, at least one of said containers comprising an identification code, said device comprising an interface for collecting customised data, for example on a mobile phone or tablet. The invention also concerns a method for manufacturing a customised cosmetic product by homogeneously mixing components, using customised user data.
CONVEYING APPARATUS AND TONING APPARATUS
Provided are conveying apparatus and tinting apparatus. Conveying apparatus includes: first guide rail, including first section and second section connected to each other; compression module, movable along first guide rail and provided on first guide rail in fitted manner, compression module including base and compression assembly having adjustable relative positions, compression assembly being provided on base, gap existing between compression assembly and base, compression module having to-be-assembled state and compression state, and when compression module is in compression state, gap being narrowed to tightly clamp clamped member; and limiting structure, during compression module moves from first section to second section, state of compression module being switched by means of limiting structure, when compression module is located on first section, compression module being in to-be-assembled state, and when compression module is located on second section, compression module being in compression state.
PORTABLE CUSTOM COSMETIC PIGMENT DISPENSER
A portable custom cosmetic pigment dispenser creates a cosmetic pigment mixture that closely matches a person's skin color. The device is constructed with a color sensor at one end that scans the skin and records color values in a color space. A processor converts the color values into a colorspace. In one example, a user is presented with a sample of the color as determined by the processor and has an opportunity to accept or modify the color. Specific quantities of colored pigment are selected based on the corresponding weightings in the color space.
Compounder apparatus
A system including a containment assembly for enclosing a medication container may comprise a first housing portion or interface portion having a proximal end and a distal end. The interface portion may include a housing wall which defines a channel spanning from the proximal end to the distal end. The channel may be open at the proximal and distal end. The containment assembly may further comprise only two pierceable septa configured to form a barrier to the channel. The containment assembly may further comprise a variable-volume housing portion having a variable volume chamber. The variable-volume portion chamber of the variable-volume housing portion may be in fluid communication with the distal end of the channel.
Dye dispensing system
A system is disclosed including at least one scanner identifying an identification associated with a receptacle. At least one dispenser is configured to dispense a first desired amount. At least one dispensing area has a measuring instrument that measures a dispensed amount and an unused amount, and associates with the identification. At least one storage device stores a program, and at least one controller which, when executing the program, is configured to receive information and associate the information with the identification. Collected data associated with the identification is recorded. A second desired amount based on at least some of the collected data in at least one file in the database is recommended. The at least one dispenser is controlled by the at least one controller based on the first desired amount or the second desired amount. The at least one dispenser is configured to dispense the second desired amount.
System for preparing recipes with components coming from closed containers
A system for preparing recipes with components coming from closed containers (S1-S5) provides for using one or more robotic units (1), each of which withdraws a selected container, arranging a plurality of hoppers (7.1-7.5), in each of which the withdrawn selected container is inserted by the robotic unit (1), and in each of which the container is automatically opened for loading the component into the hopper (7), discharging a preset component dose from each hopper (7), and collecting the dosed components for preparing the required recipe; a driving and control unit (15) provides for driving and controlling all of these operations as a function of the required recipe. Thereby, an automatic system for preparing recipes is achieved, which is fast, with a low processing cost, and free from risks related to the processing.
Color conversion system and method
A method is provided for preparing a hair dye color mixture. The method includes: accessing a control system having at least a processor, a memory, and user input controls, the memory configured to store ingredients of a hair dye color mixture, each ingredient of the hair dye color mixture being from an initial product brand; receiving user input from the user input controls to change one or more ingredients of the hair dye color mixture from the initial product brand to one or more subsequent product brands; matching the color of the hair dye color mixture made from one or more ingredients of the initial product brand using one or more ingredients of the one or more subsequent product brands, in response to the user input; and displaying the ingredients of the hair dye color mixture in the one or more subsequent product brands on a display.
Generative Scent Design System
A generative scent design system has a frame, an input receiver, an input processor, a dispenser, a container, and a filling platform. The dispenser has a dosing station and a storage compartment. The dosing station and the filling platform are attached to the frame. The dosing station has a plurality of pumps. The heating system regulates its associated pump's temperature. The storage compartment has scent vessels that contain a respective scent. Each pump with an inlet and an outlet is associated with a respective heating system and respective scent; in fluid communication through the inlet with the scent vessel containing the respective scent; and configured to dispense its respective scent through the outlet. The container is movably positioned on the filling platform to receive the respective scent from each pump. The input receiver receives data. The input processor calculates the data to determine a formulation of respective scents.
CLOSED COLORANT DELIVERY SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A tinting system includes a storage system and a colorant dispenser. The storage system includes a container that defines a fluid-tight, sealed chamber within which a colorant containing reduced levels of biocide (fungicide and/or bactericide) is stored. A valve is positioned at and sealed to an opening provided in the container. The colorant dispenser includes an inlet configured to be releasably and removably attached to the valve of the container. A pump and dosing valve of the colorant dispenser are operated to dispense colorant from the storage system through a discharge nozzle of the colorant dispenser.
