System and method for dispensing a beverage
A system for dispensing a plant-based milk includes a mixing chamber for emulsifying a plant-based paste and water, a plant-based paste storage connected to the mixing chamber via a first conduit, a water storage connected to the mixing chamber via a second conduit, and a cooling system. The system includes a pumping system for moving a prescribed amount of the plant-based paste into the mixing chamber upon receiving an input from a user via a user interface, a flow system for flowing water from the water storage to the mixing chamber, and a control system. The control system receives the input from the user, activates the pumping system and activates the flow system. Further, the control system activates the mixing chamber for emulsifying the plant-based paste and the water, and dispenses the emulsified plant-based mixture of the paste and the water.
DISTRIBUTION TUBE FOR STATIC MIXER
A distribution tube for a static mixer provides efficient mixing with improved performance over a wide range of flow rates. The distribution tube is positioned near an inlet side of the static mixer. An injected fluid is introduced into the static mixer via the distribution tube, which pre-mixes the injected fluid with a main fluid prior to further mixing by mixing elements of the static mixer.

LARGE SCALE MIXING SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS
The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, a mixing system that includes a heating assembly configured to heat liquid, and a mixing assembly including a tank defining a cavity and configured to retain liquid, an inlet in fluidic communication with the cavity and configured to receive liquid from the heating assembly, a mixing impeller assembly configured to mix contents of the cavity, an actuator configured to actuate the mixing impeller assembly to mix contents of the cavity, and an outlet in fluidic communication with the cavity and having a valve configured to selectively prevent and permit egress of contents of the cavity.
VacFlush adaptor for submersible pumps
Wastewater treatment systems are disclosed. A wastewater treatment system includes a wastewater conduit disposed in a wastewater treatment vessel, a pump comprising an intake and an outlet connectable to the at least one opening of the wastewater conduit, and an adapter comprising a first end and a second end. The adapter is configured, in a treatment mode, to provide a flow path for wastewater from the wastewater treatment vessel through the adapter and pump to the wastewater conduit. The adapter is further configured to, in a backflush mode, provide a flow path for wastewater through the plurality of nozzles of the wastewater conduit and through the adapter and pump for discharge into the wastewater treatment vessel. Methods of treating wastewater using the system and adapter are disclosed. Methods of retrofitting a wastewater treatment system by providing the adapter are disclosed.
Portable fluid batching system for creating fireproofing coating material
A portable water batching system for mixing fireproofing coatings. A controller allows the user to pre-set the volume of a batch of water to be dispensed into the mixer for the fireproofing coating. The water batching system can also be used in conjunction with an acid/activator injection system that allows an acid solution to be introduced to the fireproofing coating slurry prior to reaching the spray gun used for application. The water batching system and acid injection system can be used in tandem with a system that proportionally controls the amount of acid solution pumped from the acid injection system to the amount of fluid pumped from the water batching system. The systems can each be equipped with data sensors to allow for recording of information for each batch of fireproofing coating.
METHOD FOR THE REMOVAL OF AT LEAST ONE CONTAMINANT FROM AN AQUEOUS LIQUOR OR A GAS
A method for the removal of at least one contaminant from an aqueous liquor or a gas, comprising: preparing a solution or slurry of a solid alkali reagent by supplying a solid alkali reagent into a pre-wetting chamber via a feed pipe; supplying a liquid via two or more liquid sidestreams, each through a liquid inlet positioned on a side wall of the chamber to allow the liquid sidestreams to wash an internal wall of a frusto-conical section of the chamber and flow, preferably tangentially onto the internal wall in a downward spiraling manner thereby forming a vortex, towards a fluid outlet of the chamber and to further wet the solid alkali reagent with the supplied liquid thereby forming a pre-wetted reagent; and flowing a stream though a conduit, thereby creating a suction by the eductor to draw the pre-wetted reagent out of the chamber fluid outlet and mixing it with the stream to form a slurry or solution; and directing the slurry or solution exiting the eductor to an aqueous liquor or gas treatment unit, removing at least a portion of the contaminant from the aqueous liquor or gas in the treatment unit.
DEVICE FOR INJECTING FLUID INTO A LIQUID, METHOD FOR CLEANING SAID DEVICE, AND EFFLUENT TREATMENT INSTALLATION
A device for injecting a secondary fluid into a main liquid, includes a first part able to convey a secondary fluid in a substantially longitudinal direction; a second part able to eject the secondary fluid from the device, so as to inject the secondary fluid into a main liquid, the second part being in fluidic connection with the first part and comprising an open end; the device comprising at least a first position, referred to as the low position, and a second position, referred to as the high position, and further comprising a positioning means able to position the device in a position comprised between the first position and the second position.
