Systems, devices and methods for making and expressing foam used in medical procedures
A medical device for making foam includes a syringe having a plunger for dispensing a liquid from a liquid dispensing port, and a mixing chamber including a mixing chamber inlet, a mixing chamber outlet, a liquid flow channel extending between the mixing chamber inlet and the mixing chamber outlet, and a gas inlet channel that intersects with the liquid flow channel. The system has a gas cartridge containing the gas, a first gas conduit connected with the syringe, and a second gas conduit connected with the gas inlet channel. An actuator is coupled with the gas cartridge for releasing the gas into the first and second gas conduits. The released gas in the first gas conduit forces the plunger toward the liquid dispensing port for dispensing the liquid from the liquid dispensing port and into the liquid flow channel while the released gas in the second gas conduit flows into the gas inlet channel of the mixing chamber for mixing with the liquid in the liquid flow channel.
Fluid-driven stirring apparatus
A fluid-driven stirring apparatus includes a fluid introduction passageway, a fluid chamber connectable to the fluid introduction passageway, a container for accommodating liquid to be stirred, and a stirring assembly. The stirring assembly includes a driving impeller arranged in the fluid chamber, a stirring shaft fixedly connected with the driving impeller and extending through the fluid chamber into the container, and a stirring member arranged on the stirring shaft and adjacent to the bottom of the container. Thus, the fluid drives the driving impeller to rotate the stirring shaft, so that the stirring member can stir the liquid in the container.
Systems and methods for treating viscous media
Systems for treating a viscous medium are illustrated. The systems may comprise a primary source of pressurized treatment fluid, a fluidic transfer assembly, and a helical mixing element. The fluidic transfer assembly comprises a fluidic transfer chamber and a fluid outlet. The primary source of pressurized treatment fluid is in fluidic communication with the fluid outlet of the fluidic transfer assembly via the fluidic transfer chamber. RAW MATERIAL MIXING APPARATUS
The application relates to a raw material mixing apparatus, including mixing drums and a feed pipe, each of the two mixing drums is provided with a feed port and a discharge port, the feed ports of the two mixing drums are both communicated with the feed pipe, and a switching valve is arranged on the feed pipe; a first rotating disc and a second rotating disc are rotatably connected at two ends of the mixing drum respectively, and a stirring assembly is connected between the first rotating disc and the second rotating disc in the axial direction of the mixing drum; the stirring assembly includes a central stirring element and a plurality of non-central stirring elements radially arranged between inner side walls of the mixing drums and outer side walls of the central stirring element.
Fluid Mixing Apparatus and Methods for Mixing and Improving Homogeneity of Fluids
Apparatus that mixes non-homogenous fluid. A threaded shaft within a housing circulates fluid within a container to effect mixing. In one embodiment, when placed in a container of fluid, the housing the fluid is recirculated through opposing ends of the housing. In an embodiment of a related method for mixing, a pump housing containing a screw journaled for rotation receives fluid within a container and conveys the fluid therethrough to circulate a fluid portion in the container along an exterior surface of the housing for mixing with another fluid portion to improve fluid homogeneity. After mixing, the portion of the fluid which first circulates through the housing may recirculate through the housing with said another portion of the fluid. The fluid may be continuously mixed and recirculated through the housing.

Single-pass flow-through dry chemical mixing trailer
A single-pass flow-through dry chemical mixing trailer for use with a well has a trailer, a refillable liquid storage tank, a main liquid storage tank valve, a liquid storage tank inlet valve, an onboard power supply, a motor with a fuel supply, a transmission, a fluid circulation loop, a self-priming bidirectional flow alternating centrifuge pump, an automated mixer assembly, and a discharge tank. The refillable liquid storage tank prevents backflow to the self-priming bidirectional flow alternating centrifuge pump while flowing the homogenized slurry to the well and the dry chemicals introduced at the automated mixer are subjected to high shear forces, incorporating the dry chemicals into the liquid with increased dispersion and reduced agglomeration.
