MANUAL MIXER
A manual mixer serves to facilitate mixing and agitating materials for use during surgery. For example, the manual mixer includes a body portion defining an interior area, a mixing assembly provided in the interior area of the body portion, a crank assembly for actuating the mixing assembly, and a valve assembly. The mixing assembly serves to mix and agitate the materials provided in the interior through rotation of a plunger portion and a spring attached thereto, and through upwards and downwards movement of the plunger portion in the interior area. Rotation of the crank assembly serves to rotate the plunger portion and the spring attached thereto, and effectuate upwards and downwards movement of the plunger portion. The valve assembly can be opened to facilitate dispensing of the materials from the interior area.
Revolving chamber oscillation mixing devices and associated methods
Mixing devices and associated methods are described herein. Various embodiments of mixing devices can comprise a plate configured to rotate about a longitudinal axis and a plurality of enclosures coupled to the plate. The enclosures can each include (a) at least one sidewall that defines an oblique angle with the plate and (b) a chamber configured to receive a media and a fluid. The enclosures can be fluidly coupled to a fluid source for receiving the fluid in the chambers. When the plate is rotated, the enclosures revolve about the longitudinal axis to mix the media with the fluid in the chambers.

The invention relates to a device (1) and a method for processing, preferably stirring and/or mixing, a substance (2) in a container (3) by at least one magnetic tool (4) being movably insertable or being movably inserted in the container (3), the device (1) comprising a worktop (5) for contacting a section of the container (3), preferably at least partially a bottom wall (3B) of the container (3), at a first side (S51) of the worktop (5); at least one actuating unit (6) for generating a magnetic field (MF) for driving the at least one magnetic tool (4), the at least one actuating unit (6) being arranged at a second side (S52) of the worktop (5) opposite to the first side (S51); and a drive unit (7) for rotational and translational driving the at least one actuating unit (6).
