MIXING ASSEMBLY FOR A CONTAINER AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME

A sacrificial mixing assembly for a container and a method of operating the same. The mixing assembly includes an alignment assembly and a paddle assembly. The alignment assembly includes an alignment dish having a geometric shape substantially similar to a base of the container and an alignment shaft projecting from the dish surface. The paddle assembly includes an elongate section for engaging with the alignment shaft and a plurality of blades projecting from the elongate section for mixing contents contained within the container. The mixing assembly is containable within the container and rotatable about the alignment shaft. The alignment dish is dimensioned to interface with the base of the container to reduce annular motion about the alignment shaft during rotation of the paddle assembly about the alignment shaft.

A rotary machine for mixing, pumping or agitating a fluid includes an impeller for acting on the fluid, a drive unit for rotating the impeller around a rotation axis, a drive shaft connecting the impeller with the drive unit, a mounting flange for fastening the rotary machine to a wall of a vessel, and a support structure for supporting the rotary machine, the support structure comprising at least one leg, each leg extending in a vertical plane from a first end along a longitudinal axis to a second end, each leg including an outer member and an inner member coaxially arranged in the outer member, and the inner member slidingly movable relative to the outer member for adjusting the length of the respective leg. In addition, a method of mounting a rotary machine for mixing, pumping or agitating a fluid to a wall of a vessel is proposed.

Burner kettle for asphalt paving apparatus
09732280 · 2017-08-15 · ·

A burner system for heating the material product, i.e., asphalt, includes a burner kettle designed with a thicker bottom heat transfer plate, added heat transfer oil (HTO) circulation pumps, a spiral circulation ring and heat restriction rings. The spiral circulation ring spirals up the burner kettle to move the HTO around the entire circumference of the burner kettle to eliminate hotspots. An HTO pump moves cooler oil from the top of the kettle directly across the hottest part of the bottom of the kettle, i.e., across the heat transfer plate. Keeping this zone cool will eliminate heat stress of the material. Heat restriction rings direct the heat back and forth throughout the burner kettle for increased efficiency.

In addition, a method of mounting a rotary machine for mixing, pumping or agitating a fluid to a wall of a vessel is proposed.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING AND MIXING A FOOD AND BEVERAGE PRODUCT

An apparatus and system for dispensing a food and beverage product where a flowable product is extracted from a flexible pouch and where an opening exists through which the flowable product evacuates the flexible pouch. The opening has a lock seal that locks the flowable product within the flexible pouch when a pressure is applied to the flexible pouch. There is also a zip seal located in the opening that is configured to lock the flowable product within the flexible pouch after the lock seal has been removed when pressure is applied to the flexible pouch.

Radially driven agitator

An agitator comprising a rotatable impeller comprising blades, magnets, and a shaft, wherein the impeller is configured to be driven by a drive unit magnetically coupled to the impeller, and an impeller seat receiving the rotatable impeller, the impeller seat comprising an upwardly arranged cylindrical housing, a flange, and a base, the cylindrical housing comprising a central opening for the impeller shaft, and the base comprising a collar and pins arranged to engage with a locking and centering mechanism, as well as a mixer engagement unit including the agitator, a mixer system, a mixing vessel, and methods of using the agitator, mixer engagement unit, mixer system, and mixing vessel, are disclosed.

STIRRING DEVICE

The sealing performance of a stirring device and the abrasion resistance of a seal are improved. A stirring device includes a stirring tank that defines a stirring chamber; a plurality of stirring blades that are disposed in the stirring chamber; a shear blade drive shaft that extends from a lower side of the stirring tank to the stirring chamber and rotationally drives at least one shear blade among the plurality of stirring blades; and a fixed ring and a rotating ring that is disposed radially outside the shear blade drive shaft and seals between the stirring tank and the shear blade drive shaft. A sealing surface of the mechanical seal structure is formed at the same height as or above a lowermost portion of the stirring chamber.

A fluid mixing system includes a flexible bag having a first end, an opposing second end, and an interior surface bounding a compartment; a retainer coupled to the second end of the flexible bag, the retainer having a retention cavity formed thereon that communicates with the compartment of the flexible bag; and an elongated member having a first end rotatably coupled to the first end of the flexible bag and an opposing second end freely disposed within the retention cavity of the retainer so that the second end of the elongated member can rotate within the retention cavity relative to the retainer.

PAINT CAN AND PAINT CAN MIXING SYSTEM
20210031558 · 2021-02-04 ·

A paint can and paint can mixing system effectively and cleanly mixes and stirs paint within the can by using a bottom mounted crank connected through the bottom of the can by a shaft which rotates a stirring member within the can. The crank is conveniently configured to be stored beneath the bottom of the paint can and to be pivoted downward when mixing of the paint within the can is desired. A shallow sidewall circumscribes the bottom of the paint can. The sidewall encloses a space in which the crank is located in its stored position. This allows easy and space saving stacking of the paint cans.
