BIDIRECTIONAL FLUTED AUGER
An apparatus can include a hollow tube, central shaft, agitation components, and bidirectional fluted auger. The hollow tube can have an inlet, outlet, and longitudinal central axis, and can facilitate the conveyance of foodstuff materials from the inlet to the outlet. The central shaft can extend along the longitudinal axis and can be rotationally driven both clockwise and counterclockwise. The agitation components can be coupled to the central shaft and can agitate and mix foodstuff materials being conveyed along the hollow tube. The bidirectional fluted auger can be coupled to the central shaft proximate the outlet, can rotate with the central shaft when the central shaft is rotationally driven, and can have a flow rate limiting inner cylinder, clockwise-progressing flute features, and counterclockwise-progressing flute features. The clockwise and counterclockwise progressing flute features can convey foodstuff materials toward the outlet when the bidirectional fluted auger is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise.
Agitator rotors and agitator systems for solids
An agitator rotor includes a shaft, rails, and a rod. The shaft defines a longitudinal axis. The rails extend radially from and are coupled to the shaft. The rails are separated from each other along a length of the shaft. Each rail includes a surface defining a non-zero angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the shaft. The rod includes a first end coupled to a first one of the rails. The rod includes a second end coupled to a second one of the rails. A projection of the first end and the second end of the rod in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the shaft defines a minor arc about a portion of the shaft.
INTEGRATED MIXER AND NOZZLE DEVICE FOR 3D PRINTER OF BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND METHODS FOR OPERATING THE SAME
an integrated mixer and nozzle device for a 3D printer of building construction components includes: a support; a mixer disposed inside the support to mix a first material and a second material together to produce a flowable mixture; a conveyor directly connected to the mixer to convey the flowable mixture in a first direction; and a nozzle directly connected to the conveyor to extrude the flowable mixture and to discharge the extruded mixture in a second direction different from the first direction.
Double shaft reactor/mixer and system including an end cap for a reactor/mixer and a discharge screw connector block
An at least two shaft reactor/mixer, in particular for process engineering treatment of highly viscose, elastic and/or solid containing reaction substance and mixture, in which at the housing inner wall inwardly directed static mixing elements are arranged, which interact with scrapers of the at least two shafts in such a way, that in the area of the spaces between the scrapers the static mixing elements and the housing inner wall sheer forces, in particular a flow disturbance, are generated in an enhanced manner. In addition, there is a system including an end cap for a one or multiple shaft reactor/mixer and a discharge screw connector block being connectable with the end cap in a detachable manner.
Apparatus for storing gas hydrate pellets
The present invention provides an apparatus for storing gas hydrate pellets that includes: a storage tank having an inlet formed at a top portion thereof for having gas hydrate pellets injected therein; a transfer part formed at a lower portion of the storage tank so as to transfer the injected gas hydrate pellets to an outside of the storage tank; a rotating shaft vertically formed in the storage tank; a plurality of division plates coupled to the rotating shaft to partition an internal space of the storage tank, each having a bottom portion thereof formed above a top portion of the transfer part; an extension plate coupled to a lower portion of each of the division plates in such a way that the extension plate is movable up and down; and a guide formed at an upper portion of the transfer part and configured to guide the extension plate so as to allow the extension plate to be revolved by rotation of the rotating shaft without an interruption with the transfer part.
HOUSEHOLD NOODLE MAKER
A vertical household noodle maker includes a base, a stirring container connected to the base, a stirring rod longitudinally arranged in the stirring container, an extrusion cylinder horizontally arranged at one side below the stirring container, a spiral rod arranged in the extrusion cylinder, an extrusion die and a control unit. The stirring rod includes a rod body and a stirring blade. The motor rotates the stirring rod and the spiral rod, and a feeding inlet in communication with the extrusion cylinder is provided at a bottom of the stirring container. An inner wall of the stirring container is provided with a cutting rod, and a projection of the cutting rod at least partially overlaps with a projection of the stirring blade in the horizontal direction when the stirring blade is driven by the motor to rotate to a position of the cutting rod.
Apparatus for the pretreatment and subsequent conveying, plastification, or agglomeration of plastics
The invention relates to an apparatus for the pretreatment and subsequent conveying or plastification of plastics, with a container with a mixing and/or comminution implement that is rotatable around an axis of rotation, wherein, in a side wall, an aperture is formed, through which the plastics material can be removed, a multiscrew conveyor being provided, with at least two screws rotating in a housing, wherein the imaginary continuation of the longitudinal axis of the conveyor in a direction opposite to the direction of conveying passes the axis of rotation, where, on the outflow side, there is an offset distance between the longitudinal axis of the screw closest to the container and the radius that is parallel to the longitudinal axis, and in that the two screws closest to the intake aperture are counter-rotating relative to one another.
Apparatus for starting the flow of a compacted material from a hopper trailer
An apparatus for starting the flow of a compacted material from a hopper trailer is disclosed. The apparatus may include a means of substantially joining the apparatus with the rim of a hopper trailer, an auger shaft having flighting, and a means of turning said shaft on a longitudinal axis in order to displace compacted material and initiate the flow of same. In one embodiment, the auger shaft consists of an internal shaft capable of receiving segmented sleeves having flighting in order to allow for compatibility with a wide variety of hopper trailers. In another embodiment, the drive means of the apparatus may be operated by wireless control.
ENHANCED REEL MIXER DRIVE
A system for driving a reel mixing tool, including a unit structure, a bottom output shaft, an output gearbox, a reel mixer driveshaft, a reel mixer gearbox, a flexible coupling, and a reel mixing tool, is provided. The unit structure supports the bottom output shaft which is connected to the output gearbox, the output gearbox is connected to the reel mixer driveshaft, the reel mixer driveshaft is connected to the reel mixer gearbox, the reel mixer gearbox is directly coupled to the reel mixing tool by the flexible coupling, allowing the bottom output shaft to transfer power through to the reel mixing tool.
Horizontal Fluent Material Dispenser
A horizontal fluent material dispenser for the even dispensing of a metered quantity of powder. A hopper holds the powder. The hopper has a mixing portion with rotating beaters. A horizontal conduit is coupled to the hopper and receives powder from the hopper. A screw conveyor—or auger—within the conduit transfers the material through the horizontal conduit. A knife assembly, disposed at the distal longitudinal end of the screw conveyor, breaks off a continuous and even flow of powdered material out the discharge opening. A modular screw conveyor assembly is disclosed for changing the material dispensing rate range without changing the conduit diameter. A dual drive mechanism is also disclosed for independent adjustment of the rotating beater speed and the screw conveyor.
