The present invention provides an organometal catalyst having a cationic metal complex and a borate-based bulky anion, where the metal is one or more selected from the group consisting of metals in group 13, a method for preparing the same, and a method for preparing an oligomer or a polymer using the same.
METHOD FOR OLEFIN OLIGOMERIZATION
The present invention relates to a method for olefin oligomerization and comprising i) injecting an olefin monomer and a solvent into a continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR); ii) injecting an oligomerization catalyst system comprising a ligand compound, a transition metal compound, and a co-catalyst into the continuous stirred tank reactor; and iii) performing a multimerization reaction of the olefin monomer, wherein a ratio of the flowing rates of the olefin monomer and the solvent is from 1:1 to 2:1. In the method for olefin oligomerization according to the present invention, high linear alpha-olefin selectivity may be attained even with a small amount of a solvent used by controlling reaction conditions during the multimerization reaction of olefin by a continuous reaction using a continuous stirred tank reactor.
COVALENT ORGANIC FRAMEWORKS AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF IN CHEMICAL REACTIONS
organic frameworks that include catalytic components incorporated throughout the framework. These covalent organic frameworks have unique structural and physical properties, which lend these frameworks to be versatile and useful in a number of different applications and uses and chemical reactions. In one, the covalent organic frameworks include a plurality of fused aromatic groups or polyaromatic groups and ligands, where catalytic components such as transition metal catalysts are coordinated by the ligand to the frameworks.
PROCESS TO CONTINUOUSLY PREPARE A CYCLIC CARBONATE
The invention is directed to a process to continuously prepare a cyclic carbonate product by reacting an epoxide compound with carbon dioxide in the presence of a supported dimeric aluminium salen complex. The process is performed in a reactor comprising a slurry of the supported dimeric aluminium salen complex and liquid cyclic carbonate product. The produced cyclic carbonate is discharged from the reactor while the supported dimeric aluminium salen complex remains in the reactor. The liquid carbonate product is purified by means of distillation. Between the reactor and the distillation one or more buffer vessels are present having a volume of between 5 and 50 m.sup.3 per kmol of dimeric aluminium salen complex as present in the reactor.

Process And Catalyst Composition For Producing Linear Alpha Olefins In High Yield By Ethylene Oligomerization
The present disclosure relates to a process for producing linear alpha olefins in high yield carried out by oligomerization of ethylene in the presence of a novel catalyst composition. The catalyst composition includes Zirconium compound, an organoaluminum compound, and at least one Lewis base selected from cyclic and acyclic ethers (i.e., di-n-butyl ether and diethyl ether). The process for oligomerization of ethylene is carried out in an inert organic solvent in the presence of said catalyst composition. The process as disclosed herein provides significantly high activity of the said catalyst composition resulting in high yield of the alpha olefins (>95 wt. %) as the product and significantly minimum polymer as by-product. The process provides higher yield of C6-C10 fraction with >60 wt. %.
Transition metal-based heterogeneous carbonylation reaction catalyst and method for preparing lactone or succinic anhydride using catalyst
A transition metal-based heterogeneous carbonylation reaction catalyst has an excellent catalytic activity and selectivity in the carbonylation reaction and is easily separated from a product, by crosslinking polymerizing a transition metal-based homogeneous catalyst unit through a Friedel-Craft reaction. The catalyst may be used in a method for preparing lactone. The transition metal-based heterogeneous carbonylation reaction catalyst allows to produce lactone or succinic anhydride with an epoxide compound while showing a high selectivity, and can be applied in industrial very usefully due to easy separation from the product and thus reusing thereof.
