The invention refers to a method for manufacturing a catalytic device, with the steps: a) providing a first catalyst having photocatalytic activity, a second catalyst, which is a different molecule than the first catalyst, and an adsorbent, each in a powdered state, b) mingling the first catalyst, the second catalyst and the adsorbent to form a catalytic composition and suspending them in a suspension liquid to form a slurry, and c) repeatedly coating the slurry onto a solid grid-like carrier having a plurality of through holes, configured to allow a gas to flow through the carrier, and evaporating the suspension liquid.
Supported zeolite films and methods for preparing
A method for producing a crystalline film comprising zeolite and/or zeolite-like crystals on a porous substrate is described. The method has the steps of: providing a porous support; modifying at least a surface of the top-layer of said porous support by treatment with a composition having one or more cationic polymer(s); rendering at least the outer surface of said porous support hydrophobic by treatment with a composition having one or more hydrophobic agent(s); subjecting said treated porous support to a composition having zeolite and/or zeolite-like crystals thereby depositing and attaching zeolite and/or zeolite-like crystals on said treated porous support, and growing a crystalline film of zeolite and/or zeolite-like crystals on said treated porous support and calcination. Crystalline films find use in a variety of fields such as in the production of membranes, catalysts etc.
PHOSPHORUS ELEMENT-CONTAINING ZEOLITE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PHOSPHORUS ELEMENT-CONTAINING ZEOLITE
A small-pore zeolite that is modified with phosphorus, is excellent in hydrothermal durability, and has an 8-membered oxygen ring structure. The 8-membered oxygen ring structure is CHA, AEI, and AFX. The small-pore zeolite incudes at least an aluminum element, a silica element, a phosphorus element, wherein the phosphorus element is defined by expression (1), and the small-pore zeolite has an 8-membered oxygen ring structure being of CHA, AEI, or AFX. The phosphorus element that modifies the zeolite is unevenly distributed and richly contained on the surface layer side of the zeolite. A method for producing a phosphorus element-containing zeolite.
LOW-TEMPERATURE SYNTHESIS OF CATALYST BASED ON ZEOLITE AFX AND APPLICATION THEREOF IN NH3-SCR
The invention relates to a process for preparing a catalyst based on an AFX zeolite exchanged with at least one transition metal, comprising at least the following steps:
i) mixing, in an aqueous medium, of at least one source of silicon (Si) in SiO.sub.2 oxide form, at least one source of aluminum (Al) in Al.sub.2O.sub.3 oxide form, 1,6-bis(methylpiperidinium)hexane dihydroxide, and at least one source of at least one alkali metal, until a homogeneous precursor gel is obtained;
ii) hydrothermal treatment at a temperature between 75° C. and 95° C., limits included;
iii) at least one ion exchange with a solution comprising at least one species capable of releasing a transition metal,
iv) heat treatment by drying followed by at least one calcination under a stream of air at a temperature between 400 and 700° C. The invention also relates to the catalyst obtained and to the use thereof for the selective reduction of NOx.
Methods to produce molecular sieves with LTA topology and compositions derived therefrom
The present disclosure is directed to processing for preparing crystalline pure-silica and heteroatom-substituted LTA frameworks in fluoride media using a simple organic structure-directing agent (OSDA), having a structure of Formula (I): ##STR00001##
where substituents R.sup.1 to R.sup.9 are defined herein. Aluminosilicate LTA is an active catalyst for the methanol to olefins reaction with higher product selectivities to butenes as well as C5 and C6 products than the commercialized catalysts. Titanosilicate LTA is an active catalyst for the epoxidation of allyl alcohol using aqueous H.sub.2O.sub.2.
ONE-STEP METHOD FOR THE SYNTHESIS OF HIGH SILICA CONTENT ZEOLITES IN ORGANIC-FREE MEDIA
In an embodiment, the present disclosure pertains to a composition comprising a zeolite with high silica content. In some embodiments, the silica to aluminum ratio (SAR) for the zeolite is 2:1. In some embodiments, the zeolite is synthesized without the use of post-synthesis dealumination. In some embodiments, the zeolite is synthesized without the use crystal seeds. In some embodiments, the zeolite is used in commercial ion exchange. In some embodiments, the zeolite is used for catalysis reaction. In some embodiments, the zeolite is highly thermostable.
Spherical agglomerates based on zeolite(s), process for the production thereof and use thereof in adsorption processes or in catalysis
The present invention relates to spherical agglomerates based on zeolite(s) and clay(s), having controlled size and morphology, in particular a size of less than or equal to 600 μm, very good sphericity, and a high content of zeolitic material, to the process for the production thereof. These agglomerates are particularly suitable for uses in gas-phase and/or liquid-phase adsorption processes.

The present invention also relates to nanosized particles of zeolite-type material capable of being obtained by the method of the invention and to the use of such particles as a catalyst or catalyst support for heterogeneous catalyst, or as molecular sieve, or as a cation exchanger.
