High porosity cerium and zirconium containing oxide
This disclosure generally relates to an oxide composition basically composed of cerium and zirconium that has exceptional and stable porosity, surface area and lattice oxygen mobility. The oxide composition can contain one or more other rare earth oxides other than cerium oxide. For example, some compositions can contain one or more of lanthanum oxide, yttrium oxide and neodymium oxide. The oxide composition can be useful as a catalyst, catalyst support, sensor applications and combinations thereof.
Catalyst and process for the production of diesel fuel from national gas, natural gas liquids, or other gaseous feedstocks
A unique process and catalyst is described that operates efficiently for the direct production of a high cetane diesel type fuel or diesel type blending stock from stochiometric mixtures of hydrogen and carbon monoxide. This invention allows for, but is not limited to, the economical and efficient production high quality diesel type fuels from small or distributed fuel production plants that have an annual production capacity of less than 10,000 barrels of product per day, by eliminating traditional wax upgrading processes. This catalytic process is ideal for distributed diesel fuel production plants such as gas to liquids production and other applications that require optimized economics based on supporting distributed feedstock resources.
METAL POROUS BODY
A metal porous body having a three-dimensional network structure, includes: a framework forming the three-dimensional network structure; and a coating layer having fine pores and coating the framework, the three-dimensional network structure including a rib and a node connecting a plurality of ribs, the framework including an alkali-resistant first metal, the fine pores having an average fine pore diameter of 10 nm or more and 1 m or less, the coating layer including an alkali-resistant second metal and optionally including an alkali-soluble metal, the alkali-soluble metal being contained at a proportion of 0% by mass or more and 30% by mass or less with reference to a total mass of the framework and the coating layer.
Reactive filter for motor vehicle
Disclosed is a reactive filter, that is a selective catalytic reduction filter or an oxidative reaction filter, including a porous substrate including internal pores having their inner surface, totally or partially, directly coated with a catalytic zeolite material resulting from an in situ hydrothermal synthesis. Also disclosed is a process for preparing such a reactive filter and the use thereof in an engine exhaust depolluting system.
Water-Gas Shift Catalyst
A sintered pelletized catalyst precursor comprising iron oxides, including haematite, and Cr.sub.2O.sub.3 and optionally one or more of Al.sub.2O.sub.3, ZnO, MnO.sub.2, MgO, and/or CuO, the pelletized catalyst precursor having an iron oxide content of 60 wt % to 95 wt %, when expressed as Fe.sub.2O.sub.3, and a Cr(VI) content of less than 0.1 wt %, is physically stable on ignition or when subjected to a reducing gas sufficient to reduce the haematite to magnetite.
POROUS SHAPED METAL-CARBON PRODUCTS
The present invention provides a porous metal-containing carbon-based material that is stable at high temperatures under aqueous conditions. The porous metal-containing carbon-based materials are particularly useful in catalytic applications. Also provided, are methods for making and using porous shaped metal-carbon products prepared from these materials.
Extruded titania-based materials comprising quaternary ammonium compounds and/or prepared using quaternary ammonium compounds
Porous, extruded titania-based materials further comprising one or more quaternary ammonium compounds and/or prepared using one or more quaternary ammonium compounds, Fischer-Tropsch catalysts comprising them, uses of the foregoing, processes for making and using the same and products obtained from such processes.
NONPRECIOUS METAL CATALYST FOR HYDROGEN PRODUCTION FROM NEUTRAL SOLUTIONS
Catalysts comprising MoP and MoP.sub.2 are disclosed, wherein the catalyst is a composite. The catalyst may have a molar ratio of MoP:MoP.sub.2 within a range of 5:95 to 95:5. The catalyst may be used as a cathode active material for hydrogen generation from neutral pH solutions, such as wastewater or seawater. Methods of making the catalyst also are disclosed.
SHAPED POROUS CARBON PRODUCTS
Shaped porous carbon products and processes for preparing these products are provided. The shaped porous carbon products can be used, for example, as catalyst supports and adsorbents. Catalyst compositions including these shaped porous carbon products, processes of preparing the catalyst compositions, and various processes of using the shaped porous carbon products and catalyst compositions are also provided.
Honeycomb filter
Disclosed is a honeycomb filter for collecting fine particles that includes a wall portion formed from a base material containing ceria-zirconia composite oxide and an inorganic binder. In a pore diameter distribution in which a pore diameter and a log differential pore volume measured through mercury porosimetry are respectively represented by a horizontal axis and a vertical axis, the wall portion has a peak in a range in which the pore diameter is greater than or equal to 0.01 m and less than 1 m and a peak in a range in which the pore diameter is greater than or equal to 1 m and less than or equal to 50 m.
