This disclosure provides a device comprising a washing cassette, a sample holder, a poking gear and a washing basin assembly. The disclosure also provides machines comprising the device and methods using the device.
LABORATORY WELL PLATE WASHING DEVICE AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A device for cleaning items comprises an enclosure defining a wash chamber, a rotor positioned within the wash chamber and selectively rotatable about an axle, a motor for selectively rotating the axle, a dispenser, and a drain. The rotor comprises a plurality of holders spaced about the axle and adapted to selectively receive and hold a respective item to be cleaned. The dispenser at least one liquid input and at least one liquid output and is positioned such that the at least one liquid output directs cleaning fluid at one of the items to clean material out of the cavities. The drain is for draining the cleaning fluid out of the chamber. The rotor is selectively rotatable at a predefined rotational speed for a predefined amount of time to expel cleaning fluid from the cavities of each item to be cleaned.
Reagent bottle cleaning device
A reagent bottle cleaning device is provided, comprising a base, a cleaning assembly, and a cleaning block. The cleaning assembly comprises a pushing cylinder and a mounting plate. A plurality of mounting grooves are disposed on the mounting plate. Each mounting groove is provided with a cleaning motor. The cleaning motor is provided with a cleaning screw rod. The cleaning block is provided with cleaning grooves corresponding to the cleaning screw rods. Injecting pumps are disposed between the cleaning block and the cleaning assembly. The injecting pumps are connected to the base by lifting cylinders. Full-automatic quick cleaning of reagent bottles can be realized under the effect of a main control chip.
Automatic analyzer and method for carrying out chemical, biochemical, and/or immunochemical analyses
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a method and/or a device for carrying out chemical, biochemical and/or immunochemical analyses of liquid samples, which are present in a sample store of an automatic analyzer, with the aid of liquid reagents which are present in at least one reagent store of the analyzer. In one example embodiment, the automatic analyzer includes cuvettes, a first pipettor, a device with an optical measurement unit, a device for heterogenous immunoassays, a cuvette washing unit, a needle washing unit, a temperature control unit.
APPARATUS FOR POLYMERASE CHAIN REACTION OF NUCLEIC ACID
Thermal cycling apparatus for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) of nucleic acid is provided. Bath media in a first bath and a second bath are maintainable at two different temperatures. A transfer means allows the reactor to be in the two baths in a plurality of thermal cycles to alternately attain a predetermined high target temperature T.sub.HT and a predetermined low target temperature T.sub.LT. A florescent imaging means images the reaction material during the thermal cycling. A powder-cleaning device mechanically removes particles of powder that adhere to the reactor, when powder is the bath medium in use in at least one of the baths.
Automatic analyzer
The object of the invention is to avoid a decrease in dispensing accuracy of a sample, a reagent, or the like as a temperature changes. In an automatic analyzer, a dispensing nozzle sucks the sample from a sample container holding the sample and discharges the sample to a reaction container. A syringe pump controls an amount of change in a volume of water. A first pipe connects the dispensing nozzle and the syringe pump. An electromagnetic valve flows or stops the water. A second pipe connects the electromagnetic valve and the syringe pump. A branch pipe branches the water. A third pipe connects the electromagnetic valve and the branch pipe. A case accommodates at least the syringe pump, the first pipe, the electromagnetic valve, the second pipe, the branch pipe, and the third pipe. Further, the third pipe includes a heat exchange unit that performs heat exchange of the water.
AUTOMATIC ANALYZING APPARATUS
According to one embodiment, an automatic analyzing apparatus includes a feeder and a mixer unit. The feeder is configured to feed a first liquid and a second liquid. The mixer unit includes an inflow part, an internal space, and an outflow part. The mixer unit is configured so that the first liquid and the second liquid fed from the feeder enter through the inflow part, the first liquid and the second liquid entering through the inflow part flow inside the internal space, and the first liquid and the second liquid flowing inside the internal space exit through the outflow part according to an inflow entering through the inflow part.
Cartridge for nucleic acid extraction and nucleic acid extraction method
The present disclosure provides a cartridge for use in nucleic acid extraction and a nucleic acid extraction method which can simplify a nucleic acid extraction process and can be applicable to a point-of-care testing (POCT). The cartridge includes a chamber module, an air valve module, and a liquid valve module. The chamber module includes a plurality of chambers for extracting nucleic acids from a sample including a pretreatment chamber in which the sample is crushed and homogenization, cell disruption, and purification are performed. The air valve module is installed on the chamber module to control a pressure required to move a fluid between the plurality of chambers. The liquid valve module is installed below the chamber module to move the fluid between the plurality of chambers.
Apparatus for removing liquid contents of a container having a key activated sliding lock and method therefore
Cradles for draining liquid from containers are described herein. An example apparatus includes a housing having a bottom wall, a side wall and an open top. The housing is to receive a container having liquid. The example apparatus includes a probe extending upward from the bottom wall toward the open top and is to drain the liquid from the container when the probe is inserted into the container. The example apparatus also includes a sliding lock slidably disposed within the housing that receives a cap or top of the container when the container is inserted into the housing. The sliding lock includes a key slot. The sliding lock is movable when a cap or top of the container has a matching key that engages the key slot, which enables the sliding lock to move downward to expose the probe and drain the liquid from the container.
