A flow cell of the flow cytometer of the present invention includes: a sample flow path through which a sample fluid containing a sample flows; and a sample fluid supply portion which communicates with an upstream end of the sample flow path in the sample fluid flow direction and supplies the sample fluid to the sample flow path, wherein the sample fluid supply portion includes a plurality of sample opening portions which supply a sample fluid to the sample flow path, a cleaning liquid supply opening portion to which a second tube is connectable and which supplies a cleaning liquid for cleaning the sample fluid supply portion, and a cleaning liquid discharge opening portion to which a first tube is connectable and which discharges the cleaning liquid from the sample fluid supply portion.
Pipette carousel with germicidal lamp
An apparatus for decontaminating and storing lab instruments such as pipettes. A carousel feature of the apparatus provides convenient access and allows multiple items to be decontaminated at the same time. The ultraviolet lamp directs UV radiation to surface contaminations of the instruments and effectively eliminates various microorganisms.
PIPETTE TIP WASHING DEVICES AND METHODS
Methods and apparatus are provided for washing pipette tips, including the inside and outside of the pipette tip. Pipette wash devices comprise a main body comprising a wash chamber, a liquid channel, a gas channel, and a nozzle cavity, and a nozzle for providing a washing mist is positioned in the nozzle cavity and fluidically connected with the liquid channel and the gas channel. Methods of washing a pipette tip include inserting a pipette tip in a wash chamber; spraying a mist on an outside surface of the pipette tip; and blowing pressurized air or inert gas on the outside surface of the pipette tip, thereby washing and drying the pipette. Methods of washing a pipette tip also include passing one or more series of liquid slugs separated by gaseous gaps through the inside of the pipette tip.
Analysis unit, washing device, and washing method
An analysis unit for quantitating detection target substances bound to antibodies includes wells and inclination parts. The wells each have a hole-like shape defined by an opening, an inner circumferential surface, and a bottom. The inclination parts each have an inclined surface connected to the inner circumferential surface and inclined downward such that whose height with respect to the bottom decreases as a distance from an outer circumferential side of the well increases.
Methods, devices, and apparatus for washing samples on array plates
An apparatus for washing an array plate includes one or more dispensers and one or more aspirators that are distinct from the one or more dispensers. A respective dispenser of the one or more dispensers is configured to dispense a first liquid on the array plate, and a respective aspirator of the one or more aspirators is configured to aspirate liquid on the array plate. A method for washing particles is also disclosed.
Probe wash station for analytical instrumentation
A wash station includes a wash nozzle for cleaning an exterior portion of a probe and a basin allowing for waste fluid to be collected. The wash nozzle includes a vertically-elongate cavity with side slits on opposing side portions. A fluid inlet port may be connected to a side portion of the cavity to provide fluid. Fluid may additionally or alternatively come from within the probe. The basin includes an elongate body with an opened end to receive and secure the wash nozzle. One or more access slots may be provided on opposing side portions of the basin. The probe passes through an access slot or over a portion of the basin and through a side slit of the nozzle to enter the cavity for cleaning. A geometry of the cavity allows the wash nozzle to fill to a predetermined level while waste fluid flows out through the side slits.
Air-drying storage device for cleaned slides
An air-drying storage device for cleaned slides, including a storage box and a slide rack; an upper right corner in the storage box is fixedly provided with a miniature air intaking pump, a lower left corner in the storage box is fixedly provided with a miniature air expelling pump; a plurality of positioning plates are arranged on left and right inner walls of the storage box; the slide rack is detachably arranged between the positioning plates; an upper end of the storage box is provided with an electric control box configured to controls entire circuit. The air expelling pump and the air expelling pump accelerate the air flow rate inside the storage box; a sealing device and a magnetic device are arranged between edges of the box doors and edges of the storage box to prevent air leakage; an ultraviolet sterilization lamp sterilize the inside of the storage box.
SPRAYING DEVICE FOR A CLEANING MACHINE FOR CLEANING MEDICAL, PHARMACEUTICAL AND/OR LABORATORY UTENSILS
The invention relates to a spraying device, a cleaning machine for cleaning medical, pharmaceutical and/or laboratory utensils, a retrofitting device for retrofitting a hydraulic spraying device and a method for cleaning medical, pharmaceutical and/or laboratory utensils. At least one washing arm (3, 3a) is rotatably arranged on an axle (4) and can be supplied with cleaning fluid from a cleaning fluid supply line (5) in the axle (4). The washing arm (3, 3a) is provided with outlet openings (6) from which jets of cleaning fluid can be directed onto the utensils (8). The spraying device (2) has a drive device (9) for actively driving the washing arm (3, 3a). The drive device (9) comprises a turbine (11) which is in operative connection with the washing arm (3, 3a) in such a way that a rotation of the turbine (11) leads to a rotation of the washing arm (3, 3a). The drive device (9) also has a drive fluid line (10, 10a) separate from the cleaning fluid supply line (5). The turbine (11) can be driven by a drive fluid flowing out of the separate drive fluid line (10, 10a).
Automated analyzer
To provide an automated analyzer capable of shortening analysis time. The automated analyzer includes a vessel which contains a mixed solution of a specimen and a reagent; and a control unit which controls a first operation performed on the vessel, a second operation performed on the vessel after the first operation, and a third operation performed on a predetermined mechanism of the automated analyzer before the second operation, in which the control unit performs the first operation and the third operation in parallel. Alternatively, the automated analyzer includes a control unit which controls a first operation performed on the vessel, a second operation performed on the vessel after the first operation, and a third operation performed on a predetermined mechanism of the automated analyzer after the first operation, in which the control unit performs the second operation and the third operation in parallel.
Sample Injection Probe Washing
Provided are handling systems and methods for sample processing. The systems can include a sample container and a probe. A system can be convertible between a loading state in which a user loads sample into the sample container, a sampling state in which relative motion between the sample container and the probe places the probe and sample container into fluid communication with one another so that the probe can aspirate sample from the sample container, and a washing state in which rinse fluid is expressed through the probe so as to remove unwanted material from within the probe, with the rinse fluid being collected by a wash manifold.
