Pipetting device for an improved pulse-based pipetting of liquid
A pipetting apparatus and method for pulsed dispensing of small metered-liquid doses of no more than 1 μl. The apparatus includes a pipetting conduit at least partly filled with working gas, a pressure-modifying apparatus for modifying the pressure of the working gas, and a control apparatus for applying control to the pressure-modifying apparatus. The control apparatus can control the pressure-modifying apparatus so as to generate in the pipetting conduit, with respect to a reference holding pressure in the pipetting conduit which is necessary for immovable holding of the metered-liquid quantity, an overpressure pulse having a pulse duration of no more than 40 ms.
Dropper dispensers and methods of using the same
Embodiments of the invention related to dispensing devices (100), and more particularly to dispensing devices having a dropper or dispenser (200) associated with a container (900) full of product wherein the dropper (200) may be charged, separated from the container (900), and then used to dispense a product therefrom.

Metering device
A dispensing device includes a housing having at least one pressure chamber, having a supply opening for the supply of liquid into the pressure chamber and having a multiplicity of conduits between the pressure chamber and an external side of the housing, there being situated in each of the conduits a tube, the first end of which protrudes into the pressure chamber and the second end of which protrudes out of the housing on the external side.
Apparatus and method for metered dispensing of a microfluidic amount of fluid in the picoliter and microliter range and hand-held device for locally piercing human or animal skin
Metered dispensing of a microfluidic amount of fluid from a reservoir comprises a pressure device which applies a discharge pressure for fluid ejection via a discharge line through a valve arrangement. The valve device has a first valve with a minimum closing time and a second valve with a minimum opening time. A control device provides control signals for operation for metered dispensing of the amount of fluid as follows: a shortened minimum opening time for freeing the discharge line for the fluid flow, which time is shorter than the minimum opening time of the second valve; and a shortened minimum closing time for closing the discharge line for the fluid flow, which time is shorter than the minimum closing time of the first valve. Furthermore, a hand-held device for locally piercing human or animal skin is disclosed.
Fluid dispensing device including a valve assembly fluidically coupled to a first and second inlet, and to a first and second outlet
A fluid dispensing device includes a dispensing cylinder, a first inlet and a second inlet. The first inlet is disposed within a first container on which the fluid dispensing device is mounted. The first inlet and the second inlet are configured to facilitate intake of only one fluid into the dispensing cylinder at a given point in time. The fluid dispensing device also includes a first outlet and a second outlet. The first outlet and the second outlet are configured to dispense only one fluid out of the dispensing cylinder at a given point in time. The fluid dispensing device further includes a valve assembly fluidically coupled to the first inlet and the second inlet, and to the first outlet and the second outlet. The valve assembly is configured to control flow of the fluids within and/or out of the dispensing cylinder.
