20230075210 · 2023-03-09 ·

The present invention discloses an eco-friendly recyclable dropper, comprising a pressing portion and a pipette, wherein a bottom of the pressing portion is wrapped around a top of the pipette, wherein a bottom inner wall of the pressing portion includes a concave groove, wherein a top outer wall of the pipette includes a corresponding convex circle, wherein the concave groove matches with the convex circle and become airtight based on the characteristics of both material, wherein the pressing portion is made of PE material, wherein the pipette is made of PP material. Since the pressing head is made of PE material or a mixture material of PE and PP, and the pipette is made of PP material, a combination of the pressing head and the pipette is better in airtightness comparing to prior arts using glass pipettes; furthermore, the design of the pressing head and the concave groove and the convex circle of the pipette provides better airtightness; the dropper and the bottle of this invention both used PP and PE material, which can be fully recycled and reused after using the liquid within, avoids environmental pollution and saves resources. The market of this invention is very wide and this invention has a breakthrough meaning in the dropper field.

The subject matter of the invention is a storage container with a removable cover for pipettes containing a fluid, in particular a treatment fluid for eyes, wherein at least one pipette is hold in the cover, as well as a set consisting of the storage container and at least one pipette.

Cell concentration devices and methods including a syringe and a syringe holder

A system and associated method for concentrating and separating components of different densities from fluid containing cells using a centrifuge includes a syringe and a syringe holder, the syringe having a proximal top with a luer port, a sidewall extending from the top forming a syringe tube, and a plunger slidably disposed inside the syringe tube, the plunger forming a sealing engagement with the sidewall, the syringe holder defining a cavity for receiving the syringe, wherein a distal end of the syringe tube is at least partially closed by the syringe holder after the plunger is placed inside the syringe tube. The method includes receiving a fluid containing cells in the syringe; placing the syringe and syringe holder into a centrifuge; exposing the syringe and syringe holder to elevated g force in the centrifuge, the syringe holder being in physical contact with the sidewall on the distal end to provide support and prevent fluid from leaking outside the syringe; removing the syringe from the centrifuge; and extracting separated layers containing cells using the luer port of the syringe as an access port.

There is provided a bellows type dispensing tip, a bellows type dispensing apparatus, and a method of bellows type dispensing processing that performs highly precise dispensing processing despite having a simple structure. The apparatus comprises; two or more bellows type dispensing tips having; an accommodating section that is capable of accommodating a liquid or gas in the interior thereof surrounded by a wall face, and that has a deformable deforming wall face in a portion of the wall face, and an opening section communicated with the accommodating section, through which the liquid to be suctioned/discharged can flow in and flow out due to expansion and contraction of the interior caused by deformation of the deforming wall face; and a dispensing head that supports the bellows type dispensing tips, and that performs suction/discharge of the liquid into or from the bellows type dispensing tip, by deforming the deforming wall face.

CELL CONCENTRATION DEVICES AND METHODS

A system and associated method for concentrating and separating components of different densities from fluid containing cells using a centrifuge includes a container defining a cavity for receiving the fluid. The container has a top, a sidewall extending from the top, and a bottom disposed opposite the top and in sealing engagement with the sidewall. An insert is slidably disposed in the cavity of the container and defines a lumen through the insert. The lumen, which includes a hole and a funnel-shaped upper portion in fluid communication with the hole, forms an open fluid path between opposite ends of the insert. The insert has a density such that upon centrifugation a selected component of the fluid resides within the lumen. A container port is disposed in the top of the container to transfer the fluid into the container and to withdraw a fluid component other than the selected component from the container. The system includes a manifold that includes a manifold port, a vent to vent the container, and a connector to couple to the container port. A cannula is receivable in the manifold port and extendable through the container port into the container and into the lumen of the insert to withdraw the selected component from the lumen.
