Apparatus, system and method for providing a bitumen-rich stream from bitumen-containing materials
Method and apparatus to facilitate recycling of at least one fraction of bitumen-containing materials. This can be accomplished by dissolving the at least one fraction, for example, maltenes or asphaltenes in roofing shingles, into at least one solvent. In one aspect, the apparatus comprises a dissolution vessel, a tumbler positioned therein, and at least one solvent distributor. The tumbler is configured to facilitate wetting the bitumen-containing materials with solvent. In a second aspect, a system comprises the apparatus, a solid-liquid separator, for example, a vibratory screen, and at least one solvent-fraction separator, for example, a flash drum. The at least one solvent can comprise one or more solvents useful to extract the at least one fraction. In a third aspect, a first fraction is extracted from the bitumen-containing materials with a first solvent composition, then a second fraction is extracted from the remaining bitumen-containing materials with a second solvent composition.

Method of ball milling aluminum metaphosphate
A method of preparing an aluminum metaphosphate (ALMP) particulate product includes charging a milling chamber of a ball mill with grinding media and loading an ALMP feedstock into the milling chamber. The ALMP feedstock is milled with the grinding media into ALMP particles at a particle reduction index in a range from 0.25 to 0.5. At a plurality of time steps during a period in which the milling is carried out, a fine fraction of the ALMP particles is removed from the milling chamber while a coarse fraction of the ALMP particles remains in the milling chamber for additional milling. An ALMP particulate product with a particle size distribution having a median particle size in a range from 100 m to 700 m is prepared from the ALMP particles removed from the milling chamber.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECOVERING METALS FROM A WASTE STREAM
Devices, systems, and methods for recovering metal constituents from a waste stream containing metals (e.g., incinerator ash) are described. The waste stream may include incinerator bottom ash, fly ash, or a combination thereof. A falling velocity separator is employed in combination with a centrifuge to separate and collect metals from the waste stream. The falling velocity separator uses a liquid to separate particles within incinerator ash according to the particles settling velocities. The centrifuge further separates particles from the incinerator ash according to density of the particles.
Method for Increasing the Yield of Rounded Graphite Particles
A method for producing graphite particles of certain, different fineness classes rounded by impact effect, with the help of several spheroidal separators, which are connected in series, wherein the graphite material to be rounded is pre-comminuted, and from this, a first spheroidal separator then produces graphite material, which is spheroidized by means of folding, of a first fineness class, which is discharged from the method as end product, and simultaneously separates graphite material, which can predominantly not be processed to graphite material of this first fineness class because it is too comminuted, wherein the separated graphite material, which is too comminuted, is fed to a second spheroidal separator, which, from this, can produce graphite material, which is spheroidized by means of folding, of a second, finer fineness class, which is likewise discharged from the method as end product.
CRUSHER FEED STATION
A crusher feed station is mountable on a crusher mainframe to receive bulk material from a feed hopper and a primary feeder also mounted on the mainframe, in which the crusher feed station has a scalping deck and a sizing screen configured to produce a first sizing screen oversize product, a second fines product and a third intermediate sized product. A crusher including the crusher feed station and a method of feeding feed material from a feeding station to a crusher is also provided.
