Rotatingly Drivable Grinding Media Mill for Obtaining Polyisoprene and/or Other Apolar Materials
The present invention relates to a grinding media mill (2) for obtaining polyisoprene and/or other apolar materials from raw plant materials, having a drum (4) which is peripherally closed and has a milling chamber (10) that is peripherally closed and located in the interior of the drum (4). The aim of the invention is to create a grinding media mill that enables careful processing of the raw plant materials, on the one hand, but is also variable in processing intensity and throughput time, on the other hand. This aim is achieved, according to the invention, in that the milling chamber (10) is divided into a plurality of sections along the rotation axis (6) by partitions arranged crosswise to the rotation axis (6), the partitions have passage openings through which the ground product mixture can pass from one section into an adjacent section, wherein the passage openings are sized such that they retain the grinding media located in a section, and the motor (8) is provided with an apparatus (38) by means of which the rotational speed of the drum (4) is variably adjustable.
MILLING ASSEMBLY FOR A BALL MILL
A milling assembly for a ball mill has a housing for refining and separating a substrate and a collection vessel for retaining the refined substrate. The housing includes, in vertical order, a lid, at least one milling vessel for receiving milling balls, and a screen with a refining section and apertures. The collection vessel is releasably mounted to a bottom end of the housing. The housing has an orifice arranged therein. The orifice has a valve for selectively allowing gas to pass between an outside and an inside of the housing in an open position of the valve and to seal the housing against the outside in a closed position of the valve. The milling vessel includes a taper for receiving a sealing screw.
Methods and apparatus for producing nanometer scale particles utilizing an electrosterically stabilized slurry in a media mill
Disclosed herein are methods and apparatus for producing nanometer scale particles utilizing an electrosterically stabilized slurry in a media mill. A method for producing nanometer scale particles includes adding to a media mill a feed substrate suspension. The feed substrate suspension includes a liquid carrier medium and feed substrate particles. The method further includes adding to the feed substrate suspension in the media mill an electrosteric dispersant. The electrosteric dispersant includes a polyelectrolyte. Still further, the method includes operating the media mill for a period of time to comminute the feed substrate particles, thereby forming nanometer scale particles having a (D.sub.90) particle size of less than about one micron, and recirculating for further grinding the nanometer scale particles from the media mill.
SHREDDER LUBRICATION SYSTEM
A shredder cassette of a shredder lubrication is disclosed. The shredder cassette includes a cassette housing and at least two shredding shafts arranged in parallel and rotatably mounted in the cassette housing. A first set of fingers are arranged between the cassette housing and a first shredding shaft, and a second set of fingers are arranged between the cassette housing and a second shredding shaft. At least one of the first set of fingers and the second set of fingers includes finger lubricating channels for lubricating the at least two shredding shafts.
APPARATUS FOR SIMULTANEOUS GRINDING AND FROTH FLOTATION
The present invention relates to apparatus for simultaneous grinding and froth flotation of at least one crude mineral and/or pigment, a process carried out in the apparatus for manufacturing at least one ground mineral and/or pigment, use of the ground mineral and/or pigment bearing phase obtainable by the process in paper applications as well as in paper, plastics, paints, coatings, adhesives, sealants, food, feed, pharma, concrete, cement, cosmetic, water treatment and/or agriculture applications, preferably in a wet end process of paper machine, in cigarette paper, board, and/or coating applications, or as support for rotogravure and/or offset and/or ink jet printing and/or continuous ink jet printing and/or flexography and/or electrophotography and/or decoration surfaces and the ground mineral and/or pigment bearing phase or ground mineral and/or pigment obtainable by the process.
BIORESORBABLE-MAGNESIUM COMPOSITE
The invention relates to biocomposites comprising a polymeric matrix and a magnesium filler such as a water soluble magnesium salt. The use of elemental magnesium or magnesium alloy in the biocomposite is minimized and preferably avoided. The magnesium biocomposites can be used as bone implants.
Used paper diaper processing apparatus
The peeling member is disposed inside the inner tank. The switching mechanism is provided for switching between the state of rotating the peeling member in the interlocking manner with the inner tank and the state of being disconnected the peeling member from the inner tank. With the peeling member disconnected from the inner tank, one of them is rotated, the used paper diaper stored is peeled off from the inner surface of the inner tank, and then, the used paper diaper processed in the processing tank is discharged from the bottom of the processing tank to the take-out unit via the opening and closing unit.
GRINDING AND SHAPING METHOD USING VERTICAL GRINDING MILL
A grinding and shaping method using a vertical grinding mill, comprising: selecting a vertical grinding mill with thread pitch/diameter ratio of a spiral rotor; selecting the grade of a grinding medium and determining the filling factor and adding the grinding medium into a grinding chamber of the vertical grinding mill; sequentially initiating a dust collector, an air blowing device, a driving device and a feeding device, wherein the driving device propels the spiral rotor to rotate, and the air blowing device blows upward from bottom of the grinding chamber; adjusting rotation speed of the spiral rotor of the vertical grinding mill to change cycling speed of the raw material and the grinding medium in the grinding chamber; feeding a raw material into the feeding port at an upper end of the grinding chamber; initiating a discharging device, and discharging the raw material from a discharging port.
