Refurbished lifter bar
In a method of making a lifter bar for use in a grinding mill, a refurbished lifter bar and a mould for producing the refurbished lifter bar, the lifter bar has a predetermined form and has a base member, and the method includes providing a mould having an interior space that conforms at least partially to the predetermined form, joining the mould and the base member together to form a cavity defined by the base member and the interior space, and filling the cavity with polymer and allowing the polymer to attach to the base member to construct a lifter bar having the predetermined form.
Wear-resistant rubber compositions, systems, and methods
This disclosure relates to wear-resistant rubber compositions, such as those, for example, comprising at least one hydroxy-terminated polybutadiene, at least one natural rubber, at least one polymerization accelerant; at least one sulfur; and at least one polybutadiene, wherein the wear-resistant rubber composition may have an effective cross-linking density of at least about 30×10.sup.−5 moles/cm.sup.3.
LINER SYSTEM FOR A MILL SHELL
A liner system for installation in a rotatable mill shell having an inner side and an opposed outer side, the liner system including one or more lifter bars. The lifter bar includes a body, a channel plate secured to the body and defining a channel axis, including one or more lateral extensions extending transversely from the central portion in relation to the channel axis, and one or more insert elements positioned between the lateral extension and the inner side of the mill shell, for resisting outward movement of the lateral extension toward the inner side. The liner system also includes one or more attachment assemblies, each including a bolt, for securing the lifter bar to the mill shell. The insert elements are configured to maintain the bolt in a predetermined position in which an axis of the bolt is aligned with the channel axis.
LIFTER BAR, METHOD FOR MAKING A LIFTER BAR, METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING A LIFTER BAR AND A GRINDING MILL
This relates a lifter bar, method for making a lifter bar, a method for assembling a lifter bar and a grinding mill for ore grinding. The lifter bar comprises a lifter bar body having an outer surface conforming the outer surface of the lifter bar, and a fixing element for connecting the lifter bar to the shell of the grinding mill. The lifter bar body further comprises a first portion and a second portion forming a continuous lifter bar body. The fixing element is embedded to the first portion such that it forms part of the fixing surface of the lifter bar. The second portion is made of polyurethane and forming 35-85% of the volume of the lifter bar.
SHELL PLATE, METHOD FOR MAKING A SHELL PLATE AND A GRINDING MILL
The invention relates to a shell plate, to method for making a shell plate and to a grinding mill for ore grinding. The shell plate is mountable to a shell of a grinding mill for grinding ore, said shell plate comprises a shell plate body having a first portion comprising a fixing surface for fixing the shell plate body to the shell and a second portion comprising a wear surface facing toward interior of the grinding mill, said first portion and said second portion forming a continuous shell plate body, the second portion comprises polyurethane such that the wear surface is made of polyurethane.
A LIFTER BAR, METHOD FOR MAKING A LIFTER BAR, METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING A LIFTER BAR AND A GRINDING MILL
This relates to a lifter bar, a method for making a lifter bar, a method for assembling a lifter bar and a grinding mill comprising multiple lifter bars. The lifter bar comprises a lifter bar body having a wear surface and comprising polyurethane (PU), a reinforced wearing plate attached to the lifter bar body and forming part of the wear surface. The reinforced wearing plate comprises metal and a wearing surface for forming a part of the wear surface of the lifter bar, and an attachment structure provided to the reinforced wearing plate for attaching the reinforced wearing plate to the lifter bar body. The attachment structure protrudes into the lifter bar body for forming a connection with polyurethane (PU).
PROTECTIVE LINER FOR CRUSHER
A crusher having a protective liner, the protective liner including a plurality of lining segments which are arranged circumferentially along an a of the crusher. At least some of the segments have a trapezoidal shape with two bases of different lengths arranged parallel to the circumferential direction of the wall and two non-parallel legs connecting the bases. Further, at least some of the segments are arranged along the circumference of the wall such that long and short bases of adjacent segments alternate, and wherein at least some of the segments are allowed to vary in their axial position with respect to adjacent segments to compensate for tolerances in diameter of the wall of the crusher.
CERAMIC WEAR PLATE
A ceramic wear plate includes a plurality of ceramic tiles embedded in rubber, the rubber enclosing the ceramic tiles in a plane of the ceramic wear plate such that lines of rubber strings are positioned between the ceramic tiles. The ceramic wear plate includes a number of first rubber strings extending in a first direction in the plane of the ceramic wear plate, a number of second rubber strings extending in a second direction in the plane, and a number of third rubber strings extending in a third direction in the plane. Each of the first second and third rubber strings extend in a continuous straight line between two different edges of the ceramic wear plate. The first, second and third directions are different directions and the edges extend in a direction parallel to the plane. A method of covering an area with the ceramic wear plates is also provided.
REAL-TIME MONITORING AND ESTIMATION SYSTEM FOR WEAR IN RUBBER LINERS AND LIFTER BARS UTILIZED IN ORE GRINDING MILLS
The invention relates to a system that enables real-time monitoring of wear and tear occurring in rubber liners and lifter bars used in the internal structure of the ore grinding mills employed in the mining sector, in addition to obtaining estimations as to the replacement times of worn parts.
Lifter Bar
A lifter bar for a grinding mill is described. The lifter bar comprises: an elongate structural support defining a longitudinal axis and extending from (i) a first end transverse to the longitudinal axis to (ii) a second end transverse to the longitudinal axis; a plurality of structural plates extending along the longitudinal axis in spaced relation, where each structural plate is transverse to the longitudinal axis, and defines opposed edges. The lifter bar may further comprise at least two protective plate portions, each protective plate portion being mounted over one set of the opposed edges.
