The present invention relates to apparatus for in real time detecting biological particles and non-biological particles in the atmosphere, the apparatus comprising: an impactor adapted to sort the biological particles and non-biological particles absorbed from the outside by size; a charger adapted to charge the biological particles and non-biological particles sorted by means of the impactor to specific charge (positive or negative charge); a separator adapted to introduce the biological particles and non-biological particles charged by the charger thereinto and to sort the biological particles and non-biological particles charged to different charge quantities from each other; and a particle measurement sensor adapted to measure the concentrations of the particles discharged from an outlet.

The at least one first collector is configured to collect at least some of the aggregates of the fine particles. The ionizing device includes multiple spikes, a grating, and an electric generator configured to apply to the spikes a predetermined potential relative to the grating of at least 100 kV/m.

The present invention is an air purification method and device. Due to the lower airflow resistance that the present invention induces, an exhaust fan or blower with motor of lower torque is adopted. Consequently, the whole air purification is operated at a lower noise level. Lower operational voltage is applicable for the high-voltage electrostatic precipitator device and provides a similar or superior performance and effectiveness for dust removal. The air purification device/system is designed with higher flexibility and of more compact in dimension and size. Dust is removed from the environment by a high voltage electrostatic precipitator. The airflow stream within a high-voltage electrostatic precipitator is such that the direction of the path of the airflow is changed at least twice.

This separator device includes a separation chamber having an inlet and an outlet, an oil recovery chamber coupled to the separation chamber, an emitter electrode, a collector electrode, and an electronic unit connected to the emitter and collector electrodes, for during a charging phase, bringing the emitter electrode to a negative potential, so as to negatively charge oil drops, and bringing said at least one collector electrode to a zero or positive potential, so as to collect negatively charged oil drops. The separator device further includes a pressure-drop generating member in the separation chamber. The oil recovery chamber is coupled to the downstream portion of the separation chamber via a vacuuming port, so that the oil recovery chamber is depressed.
