Air filtration assemblies configured to provide instant detection of particles and/or improve particle filtration are disclosed. The assemblies may include an air inlet duct in fluid communication with a compressor of a gas turbine system. The air inlet duct may include an inlet for receiving intake air including intake air particles, and an outlet positioned opposite the inlet. The assembly may also include a plurality of vane filters at the inlet, an array of fabric filters positioned in the air inlet duct, downstream of the vane filters, and a silencer assembly positioned in the air inlet duct, downstream of the fabric filters. Additionally, the assembly may include an electrostatic component positioned in the air inlet duct, downstream of the fabric filters. The electrostatic component may be configured to charge the intake air particles that pass through the vane filters and the fabric filters.

The present invention relates to a system for air purification. The system comprises at least a first plant and a second plant, and a voltage pulse device connectable to a power source for generating and transmitting a voltage pulse to the first plant, wherein the second plant is connected to the first plant using at least one voltage pulse transmission unit, and the first plant and the second plant are arranged to form one or more contact areas at a leaf portion. The system may also comprise a plurality of plants mounted on a support structure in accordance with some embodiments. The present invention also relates to a voltage pulse device for use with the system for air purification.

Disclosed is a system and method for reducing particulate pollutants in air, using pulsed electromagnetic waves. The disclosed system 200 comprises a device 215 configured for radiating radio waves, preferably in the frequency range of 800 MHz to 5 GHz in a predefined pulsed manner. Essentially, the disclosed device comprises a radiofrequency oscillator 315 configured for oscillating at the predefined frequency. The signal is then suitably power amplified with an RF amplifier 310 and using a suitable switch 235 the amplified output is routed to one of an omnidirectional antenna 240 and directional antenna 245 for radiating the pulsed radio waves to the atmosphere.
