HIGH-SPEED SYSTEM FOR WEED CONTROL
20230002986 · 2023-01-05 ·

The invention relates to a modular system for weed control for a rail vehicle. The modular system has a control unit for producing control signals for controlling valves and miners in a separate herbicide and mixing module and for producing a second set of control signals for controlling valves of a nozzle rod. The herbicide and mixing module has a container for holding different herbicides and electrical connection elements for connections to the control unit. Furthermore, a nozzle rod is present, which is tit ted with a nozzle set, in order to spray herbicides of the herbicide and mixing module. In addition, a camera module is present, which produces a weed signal in response to the detection of a weed, in order to control the spraying of the herbicides. The camera module is at such a distance from the nozzle rod that, despite high speed, there is sufficient time to provide the herbicide at the nozzles.

Brushless Car Wash System Including a Telescoping Unit for Washing Top and Rear Surfaces of Vehicles

A brushless car wash system includes a wash unit that washes upper surfaces of the vehicle. The height of the wash unit is adjusted based on the contour of the upper surfaces of the vehicle. Adjusting the height of the wash unit results in increased wash performance of the brushless car wash system.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING A BOOM ASSEMBLY OF AN AGRICULTURAL APPLICATOR

A boom assembly for an agricultural applicator includes a frame supporting a boom arm pivotably coupled to the frame and rotatable about a first axis. A first actuation assembly is pivotably coupled to the frame and the boom arm at a first pivot point for rotation about a second axis on a first side of the first axis. A second actuation assembly is pivotably coupled to the frame and the boom arm at a second pivot point for rotation about a third axis on a second side of the first axis. A sensor is configured to detect data indicative of a relative position of the boom arm relative to the frame. A computing system is configured to activate at least one of the first actuation assembly or the second actuation assembly in response to determining that the boom arm has deviated from a predefined angular range.

COMPACT CONTAINERIZED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SPRAY EVAPORATION OF WATER

An evaporation system for spray evaporating undesired water comprising: a first pump, a container comprising a sump, a second pump, a spray manifold comprising a spray nozzle, a packing system disposed within the container, a third pump, and an air system comprising an air blower and an air preheater is disclosed. An outlet of a water inlet is connected to an inlet of the first pump. A first portion of a ceiling of the container is constituted by a demister element such that the first portion of the ceiling is entirely configured as an outlet for evaporated water. A second portion of the ceiling is adjacent to an upper edge of a wall of the container. An outlet of the first pump is connected to an inlet of the container. An inlet of a draw line is disposed in the sump; and an outlet of the draw line is connected to an inlet of the second pump. An outlet of the second pump is connected to an inlet of the spray manifold. The spray nozzle discharges water droplets onto the packing system. An inlet of the third pump is connected to an outlet of the sump. An outlet of the third pump is connected to a discharge outlet. The air system is disposed through the wall of the container; and the air system discharges air flow counter to and/or crossways to the water droplets from the spray nozzle. A method of using the evaporation system is also disclosed.

SPRAY MONITORING SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS
20230022504 · 2023-01-26 ·

A method of monitoring agricultural spray performance includes spraying a fluid from spray nozzles, sensing spray parameters (e.g., droplet size, a flow rate, an application density, or a pressure of the fluid) for the spray nozzles, receiving the spray parameters, generating an average spray parameter value, determining a minimum spray parameter value and a maximum spray parameter value, and displaying the average, minimum, and maximum spray parameter values. Other methods include spraying a fluid from a spray nozzle, sensing a spray parameter for the spray nozzle, detecting that the spray parameter has exceeded a pre-defined threshold value, displaying an alarm, and ceasing spraying the fluid from the spray nozzle. A user interface continues to display the alarm after the act of ceasing spraying the fluid. Related systems and other methods are also disclosed.

Method for coating microstructured components

The present disclosure provides a method for the surface modification of microstructured components having a polar surface, in particular for high-pressure applications. According to the method, a microstructured component is contacted, in particular treated, with a modification reagent, wherein the surface properties of the component are modified by chemical and/or physical interaction of the component surface and of the modification reagent.

NOZZLE BLOCK PROVIDED WITH NOZZLE CLOGGING PREVENTION MEANS, AND ELECTROSPINNING DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME

The present disclosure relates to a nozzle block applied to an electrospinning device, which includes a radiation nozzle having a hollow radiation needle for discharging a spinning solution to the outside; a means of piercing having a diameter smaller than that of the radiation needle, at least one of which is coaxially disposed inside the radiation needle; and a reciprocating mechanism for reciprocating the means of piercing and the radiation needle relative to each other, thereby preventing the solution from being solidified at the tip of the radiation nozzle or the radiation nozzle from being blocked by external contaminants even if the electrospinning process is temporarily interrupted in the middle.
