Device with closure, one-way valve, and storage chamber and related method
A device has a first part with a valve seat and storage chamber, and a second part with a flexible valve cover and actuator. The storage chamber may be formed from a pre-form blow-molded into a flexible pouch defining a variable-volume storage chamber. The flexible valve cover and valve seat form a normally closed valve seam therebetween. The valve cover is movable in response to fluid at an inlet to the seam exceeding a valve opening pressure of the one-way valve between (i) a normally closed position with valve cover and valve seat in contact with each other and defining the normally closed seam, and (ii) a second position with at least a portion of the valve cover spaced away from the valve seat to allow the fluid to pass through the seam. The one-way valve may have anti-spritz features for using the device to dispense a substance, such as to the eye. The device may contain prostaglandins without the device material absorbing the prostaglandins material and/or without the material being adsorbed into the drug.
TRIGGER-TYPE LIQUID EJECTOR
A trigger-type liquid ejector includes: an ejector main body; and nozzle member provided with an ejection hole. The ejector main body includes: a vertical supply pipe for sucking-up liquid; an ejection barrel communicating with the inside of the vertical supply pipe; and a trigger mechanism including a trigger, the trigger being arranged to be movable rearward in state of receiving forward force, and the trigger mechanism being lead liquid from the vertical supply pipe into the ejection barrel in accordance with rearward movement of the trigger and to eject the liquid from the ejection barrel. The nozzle member is provided with: a cylinder communicating with the inside of the ejection barrel through a supply hole; a plunger accommodated in the cylinder to be movable rearward in a state of receiving forward force; and a communication hole allowing the inside of the cylinder and ejection hole to communicate with each other.
Trigger type sprayer
A trigger type sprayer capable of easily performing air vent in a space between a second valve and a first valve, and preventing leakage of liquid in use is provided. The present invention includes a body 11 having a first flow channel 11a through which liquid can flow, a second flow channel 11d communicating with the first flow channel 11a, and a cylindrical cylinder chamber 11b communicating with the second flow channel 11d; a hollow piston 13 slidably incorporated into the cylinder chamber 11b, having a valve seat 13b and a hollow portion 13d of a second valve 14, and sliding back and forth according to operation of a trigger 12; the second valve 14 incorporated into the hollow portion 13d of the hollow piston 13 and positioned at a downstream side; and a first valve 15 incorporated into the cylinder chamber 11b and positioned at an upstream side, wherein the first valve 15 is pressed by the second valve 14 so that the first valve 15 is opened.
Plunger pump
A plunger pump, comprising: a liquid tank; a pump body including a liquid storage part, a suction passage configured to allow communication between the liquid storage part and the liquid tank and a discharge passage configured to discharge a liquid in the liquid storage part to outside; and a plunger reciprocally movably supported in the pump body so that a tip reaches the liquid storage part. The suction passage includes a first suction passage, the tip of the plunger being reciprocally slidably inserted into the first suction passage, and a second suction passage provided in parallel to the first suction passage, and a check valve configured to allow only a flow of the liquid from the liquid tank to the liquid storage space is disposed in the second suction passage.
Pump head and metering device
Disclosed is a pump head with a specially configured elastic valve which enables secure closure of the pump head. It is ensured by the valve that complete emptying and, at the same time, secure closing of the pump head is ensured so that no residues of fluid to be metered remain in the storage state of the pump head. In addition, the present invention relates to a metering device which can be configured for example as squeeze bottle, as non-airless system or as airless system, the metering device comprising a pump head according to the invention.
PUMP HEAD AND METERING DEVICE
The invention relates to a pump head (I) with a specially designed flexible valve (20) which securely connects the pump head. The valve ensures the pump head is securely closed. The invention also relates to a metering device which can be designed, for example as a squeeze bottle, as a non-airless system or as an airless-system. Said metering device comprises the claimed pump head.
Propellantless aerosol system
A propellantless aerosol fluid dispensing system including a reusable pressurizable canister and a disposable fluid containing pouch, the pouch including a valve assembly for dispensing the fluid.
All plastic hand pump with a piston having an integrated check valve
A hand pump fabricated entirely from plastic components for dispensing liquids, is provided. The hand pump includes an actuator, a closure, a housing having a lower check valve, and a piston having an integrated upper check valve in the form of an inverted cone suspended within a cylinder. An elastic, dome shaped, plastic return spring is utilized to return the actuator to its rest position after actuation. Used pumps do not require disassembly to be recycled.
SUSTAINED DURATION TRIGGER SPRAYERS AND METHODS FOR MAKING THE SAME
A sustained duration trigger sprayer capable of dispensing at least 3 mL of product over a time period of about 3 seconds utilizing a force-to-actuate of between about 10 pounds and about 15 pounds. The trigger sprayer includes an enlarged piston bore and piston and an elongated trigger lever creating a high output fluid displacement with a 0.5 inch displacement distance. The container bottle and/or the sprayer shroud are contoured to provide a gripping area opposing the terminal end of the trigger lever wherein the gripping distance in from the gripping area to the terminal end of the trigger lever is no greater than 3.3 inches.
Pump head and metering device
The present invention relates to a pump head that enables a metered dispensing of fluids. The present invention also relates to a metering apparatus that can, for example, be configured as a squeeze bottle, wherein the metering apparatus comprises a pump head in accordance with the invention.
