METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SPRAY DROPLET SIZE OF A SPRAY NOZZLE APPARATUS FOR SPRAY-DRYING APPLICATIONS, SPRAY DRYING APPARATUS AND NOZZLE THEREFORE
A method of controlling the spray droplet size of a spray nozzle apparatus, in particular for the manufacturing of food powders, delivered to the spray nozzle comprises the following steps: a) providing a paste of a product to be sprayed by a spray nozzle; b) continuously determining the shear viscosity (η) of the product paste delivered to the spray nozzle; c) determining the mass flow rate (Qm) of the product paste delivered to the spray nozzle; d) determining the static pressure (P) of the product paste delivered to the spray nozzle; e) determining the density (p) of the product paste delivered to the spray nozzle; f) delivering the data obtained in steps b) to e) to a control device comprising a computer and a memory; g) calculating control data for adjusting the spray nozzle on the basis of the data obtained in steps b) to e) and on nozzle geometry parameters stored in the memory; h) sending the control data as control signals to a control means of the spray nozzle and adjusting the spray nozzle accordingly.
METHOD AND COATING SYSTEM FOR COATING CAVITY WALLS
The invention relates to a method for coating cavity walls, in particular cylinder bores of engine blocks, In the method, a coating is applied to a cavity wall using a coating lance. In addition, a cavity diameter is measured using a measuring apparatus. According to the invention, the method is characterized in that at least a plurality of diameter values of a first cavity are measured at different heights of the first cavity using the measuring apparatus, and in that a coating of variable thickness is applied to a wall of the first or a second cavity using the coaling lance, the thickness of said coating of variable thickness being dependent on the determined diameter values. The invention additionally describes a corresponding coating system.
Systems and methods for product system of an agricultural applicator
A product system for an agricultural sprayer includes a product tank configured to store a volume of an agricultural product. A fill station is configured to accept the agricultural product from an off-board source. A flow assembly is fluidly coupled with the fill station and is configured to direct the agricultural product into a product tank from the conduit. A reclaim system is configured to provide the agricultural product within the flow assembly to the product tank. A computing system is communicatively coupled to the reclaim system. The computing system is configured to receive inputs indicative of activation of a fill mode, detect termination of the fill mode, and activate a reclaim mode to move the agricultural product from at least the conduit to the product tank through activation of the reclaim system.
APPARATUS FOR DISPERSING PARTICLES IN A LIQUID
In one example, a liquid mixture nozzle for flowing a liquid mixture therethrough includes a body having a flow inlet and a flow outlet. The flow inlet is configured to couple to a first piece of piping and the flow outlet is configured to couple to a second piece of piping. The liquid mixture nozzle also includes a converging section having a decreasing diameter positioned adjacent the flow inlet, an orifice positioned at a narrow end of the converging section, an intermediate section having a constant diameter positioned adjacent the orifice, a diverging section having an increasing diameter positioned adjacent the intermediate section and the flow outlet.
PROGRAMMING METHOD FOR A COATING INSTALLATION, AND CORRESPONDING COATING INSTALLATION
The disclosure relates to a method for programming a program-controlled coating installation with a coating robot and an application device for coating components, in particular for programming a painting installation with a painting robot for painting motor vehicle body components, with the following steps (S1-S3): a) Presetting or determining geometry data of the component to be coated (S1), b) presetting of robot path data of the robot path to be traversed (S2), and c) determination of suitable spray pattern data (S3) which represent a layer thickness profile and are determined by a simulation which takes into account the robot path data and the geometry data of the component to be coated.
Furthermore, the disclosure comprises an appropriately adapted coating installation.
METHOD FOR ASSESSING A SHAPE OF A BELL-SHAPED LIQUID SPRAY
Disclosed herein is a method for assessing a shape of a bell-shaped liquid spray, including the steps of operating a spray nozzle for delivering a bell-shaped liquid spray and capturing an image of a plurality of liquid jets forming the delivered bell-shaped liquid spray during operation of the spray nozzle, and a computer program product for assessing a bell-shaped liquid spray.
HIGH-PRESSURE CLEANING APPLIANCE
A high-pressure cleaning appliance includes a connection for a liquid source, a delivery pump, a motor for driving the delivery pump, a delivery line through which liquid can be delivered from the connection to a spraying-out opening of the delivery line via the delivery pump, and a valve which is arranged in the delivery line. The motor has two operating states. The two operating states include an off state and an on state. The valve has two valve states, wherein the two valve states include a closed state and an open state. In the closed state, the valve prevents a flow of liquid through the delivery line. In the open state, the valve allows a flow of liquid through the delivery line. The high-pressure cleaning appliance is structurally configured in such a way that the adjustment of the operating state of the motor is possible only if the valve is in the open state.
