Material spreader utilizing vehicle power and having operational wireless control

A material spreader assembly for the broadcast spreading of particulate material from the trailer hitch of a vehicle. A hopper for storing the particulate material is supported by a frame having a trailer hitch coupler for connection to the vehicle. A spreader including a spinner driven by an electric motor receives and disperses the particulate material. A control circuit receives electric current from the vehicle via a plug interface and a wiring harness and controls the operation of the spreader. A remote communicates user commands to the control circuit. The control circuit includes a motor control processor that controls a motor power relay and a motor driver to gradually ramp up the current supplied to the spreader for start up the spreader while preventing a high transient current draw spike. Component feedback sensors enable the motor control processor to provide an emergency shut off feature and warning signals.

A device for painting a compressor or vacuum pump housing including a first semi-cylindrical structure adjoined to a second semi-cylindrical structure, a dispersing head including a rotating part having a bell shaped structure and a stationary part; a paint reservoir connected to the stationary part through a conduit; a supporting structure including fixing means. The device further includes a controller for controlling a rotational speed of the rotating part. The controller is provided with means for controlling a rotational direction of the rotating part in a clockwise direction for painting the first semi-cylindrical structure of the compressor or vacuum pump housing and for changing the rotational direction to a counterclockwise direction for painting the second semi-cylindrical structure of the compressor or vacuum pump housing.

A spreader for spreading a material including at least one pair of rotating discs having a plurality of generally radially oriented blades attached thereon for disbursing the material in a pre-selected pattern. The discs are rotatably positioned below an end of a funnel unit to receive material passing through the funnel units. The material, as it passes through the funnel units, is directed to a predetermined impact region on each of the rotating discs by a corresponding pair of deflecting vanes integrally fit and movably attached within each funnel of the pair of funnel units. Each deflecting vane is selectably movable by a corresponding actuator from a first position to a second position while the spreader is operating.

ELECTROSTATIC COATING HANDGUN AND ELECTROSTATIC COATING METHOD

An electrostatic coating handgun sprays electrically charged atomized paint onto an object to be coated. The electrostatic coating handgun includes: a rotating head; a motor that applies rotational power to the rotating head; a high voltage generator that applies a voltage to the paint; a housing supporting the rotating head with a tip end of the rotating head being exposed, and housing the motor and the high voltage generator; and a grip portion to be held by an operator. When a current value discharged from the rotating head increases due to movement of the rotating head caused by an operation by the operator, a voltage control device reduces an output voltage of the high voltage generator and a motor control device reduces a rotational speed of the motor.
