Electrodischarge apparatus
An electrodischarge apparatus has a nozzle that includes a discharge chamber that has an inlet for receiving a liquid and an outlet. The apparatus has a first electrode extending into the discharge chamber that is electrically connected to one or more high-voltage capacitors. A second electrode is proximate to the first electrode to define a gap between the first and second electrodes. A switch causes the one or more capacitors to discharge across the gap between the electrodes to create a plasma bubble which expands to form a shockwave that escapes from the nozzle ahead of the plasma bubble.
APPARATUS FOR PRECIPITATION OF ATMOSPHERIC WATER
It is disclosed an apparatus (2) for precipitation of water, comprising a plurality of spraying nozzles (4) for ejecting droplets (6); at least one insulated charging electrode (36), arranged adjacent to the plurality of spraying nozzles (4), for ionizing the droplets (6), wherein the charging electrode (36) is connected to a high-voltage direct current power supply (10). Further, it is disclosed a method for operating an apparatus (2) for precipitation of water, wherein the apparatus (2) is operated in at least one of the following modes: simultaneous operation of the plurality of spraying nozzles (4) for ejecting droplets (6) and of the at least one insulated charging electrode (36); operation of the insulated emitter electrode (8) alone; intermittent operation of the plurality of spraying nozzles (4), the insulated charging electrode (36) and the insulated emitter electrode (8), or operation of the plurality of spraying nozzles (4), the insulated charging electrode (36) and the insulated emitter electrode (8) at the same time.

PROPELLANT APPARATUS
A system can include a reservoir configured to hold working material, a decontamination module configured to remove contaminants from the working material, a flow control mechanism configured to regulate working material flow between the reservoir and the decontamination module, and a manifold fluidly connecting the reservoir to the decontamination module.
Electrostatic barrier for a robotic painting system for conductive materials
A robotic electrostatic painting system includes a barrier formed from an electrical insulating material and disposed between adjacent reservoirs for holding a conductive paint used in an electrostatic painting operation. The barrier is shaped and dimensioned with a central plate and upper and lower flanges to block every straight line path between the reservoirs to electrostatically separate the reservoirs and prevent the formation of a ground path or short circuit when there is a voltage difference between the reservoirs. The electrostatic separation of the reservoirs further prevents deterioration of conductive components of the robotic electrostatic painting system.
ELECTROSTATIC COATING DEVICE
An electrostatic coating device that can suppress the arising of corrosion in insulating members and the like surrounding coating material supply and discharge paths because of leakage arising between the paths. An electrostatic coating device is characterized by being provided with: a body part; a head part; a linking part that links the body part and the head part; a coating material path that is a first path disposed from the body part to the head part, wherein a high-voltage is applied along with the coating material (first fluid) being fed; a washing fluid path that is a second path disposed from the body part to the head part, wherein a washing fluid (second fluid) is fed along with a connection to a ground; and a displacement part for displacing all or part of air retained between the coating material path and a washing fluid path with new air.
ELECTROSTATIC COATING PLANT
The electrostatic coating plant includes an abnormality detection unit that detects abnormalities of a bumper. The detection of the abnormalities can be based on the difference between the level of the high voltage outputted from a high voltage generator, and the voltage level obtained when the electrostatic coating machine, which is not spraying coating material, is placed at a measurement position opposite to and separated by a predetermined separation distance from multiple measurement points on the bumper, arranged at the coating position, and lines of electric force are formed to the bumper with a constant current level.
COATING DEVICE, IN PARTICULAR PAINTING ROBOT
The disclosure relates to a coating device for coating components with a coating agent (e.g. paint), having a protected area which is explosion-proof and/or is under high voltage during operation and an unprotected area in which no explosive atmosphere prevails during normal operation. A plurality of sensors that measure process variables of the coating device are included with the sensors being arranged in the protected area. A data interface for external data communication, the data interface being arranged in the unprotected area is also included. A transmission system transmits data between the sensors in the protected area on the one hand and the data interface in the unprotected area. The disclosure additionally provides a collecting device in the protected area, the collecting device on the one hand being connected to the sensors and receiving measured values of the process variables from the sensors, and on the other hand being connected to the transmission system in order to transmit the measured values of the sensors to the data interface.
COATING DEVICE HAVING A TRANSMISSION DEVICE FOR THE WIRELESS TRANSMISSION OF ENERGY AND/OR DATA
The disclosure relates to a coating device (e.g. painting robot) for coating components (e.g. motor vehicle body components) with at least one electrical consumer which requires electrical energy for operation. The disclosure provides a transmission system for wireless transmission of the electrical energy required for operation of the at least one consumer to the consumer and/or for transmission of data from and/or to the at least one consumer.
