An aspirating spray nozzle including a cylindrical nozzle body, an integrated annular shroud and a nozzle cap. The cylindrical nozzle body has an externally threaded first end portion defining an inlet, a second end portion defining an outlet, and a middle portion. The integrated annular shroud encircles part of the nozzle body and has a base which is integrally joined to the middle portion by way of webbing means. The nozzle cap is adapted to be connected to the second end portion of the nozzle body.

A nozzle and a process suitable for dispensing liquid foamable products, particularly useful with carbon dioxide blowing agents, the nozzle comprising a tubular exit zone having an inlet and an outlet; the tubular exit zone having an inner wall surface defining a passageway for dispensing having a centerline axis; the tubular exit zone further having a plurality of vanes attached to the inner wall surface parallel to the centerline axis with the vanes extending radially into the passageway for dispensing; the vanes having a length dimension that is the distance the vane contacts the inner wall surface parallel to the centerline axis, a thickness dimension that is the effective thickness of the vane at the inner wall surface perpendicular to the centerline axis, and a width dimension being the distance from the inner wall surface that the vane extends into the passageway for dispensing; and wherein the vanes do not connect or touch at the centerline of the passageway for dispensing.

An aspirating spray nozzle assembly includes a nozzle body and a distributor removably attached to one another. The nozzle body includes a first inlet, a first chamber, an orifice disc and an annular catchment. The first inlet has a first end and a second end. The first chamber facilitates diffusion of the liquid jet. The first chamber has a third end in communication with the second end of the first inlet and a fourth end in communication with the distributor. The orifice disc is received within the first inlet. The orifice disc has a dispersing means adapted to cause the liquid jet to spread. The annular catchment encircles the fourth end of the first chamber. The annular catchment is configured to catch and deflect a portion of liquid splashback by the interfering means such that the portion of deflected liquid splashback is redirected downstream into the distributor.

SPRAY NOZZLE FOR PRODUCING A UREA-SULFUR FERTILIZER

A spray nozzle for production of urea fertilizer granules and/or urea-sulfur fertilizer granules has a conveying channel and an atomizing gas channel. The conveying channel has at least one separating pin and the atomizing channel has at least one swirl element. The swirl element has inserts, cutouts and moving and fixed elements.
