MIXED-SPRAY FIREFIGHTING DEVICE
The application discloses a mixed-spray firefighting device, which includes a water nozzle and a powder nozzle. The water nozzle is disposed around an outside of the powder nozzle, and a powder spray port of the powder nozzle is provided behind a water spray port of the water nozzle. A fire-extinguishing agent powder sprayed from the powder nozzle and a water flow sprayed from the water nozzle are mixed in air outside the firefighting device. The fire-extinguishing agent powder is preferably sodium polyacrylate resin powder. The application solves the technical bottleneck of using the sodium polyacrylate resin powder as a fire-extinguishing agent in the prior art, so that the sodium polyacrylate resin powder can be sprayed into a fire field smoothly and continuously without blocking the powder spray port.
Extensible Pesticide Applicator
An extensible pesticide applicator is provided enabling application of both liquid and powdered insecticides to distal, out-of-reach areas. An extensible pole has a distal and a proximal end for manual wielding whereby a pair of nozzles is deployable proximal an out-of-reach habitat. Pressurization of ambient atmosphere into the extensible pole is enabled by a pump member and timed release of the pressurized ambient atmosphere to forcibly eject powdered and alternately liquid pesticide from the distal end is enabled by manual action effected to depress a trigger member. Direct application of pesticide is thereby enabled to distal and out-of-reach habitat without a user coming into proximity with the habitat or the pesticide released.
Soot blower and method of cleaning tubular heat exchanger by using the same
The present disclosure relates to a soot blower including: a lance tube which includes one end that reciprocally moves in one direction on a surface of an inlet port of a flow path of the tubular heat exchanger; a drive unit which is connected to the lance tube and reciprocally moves and rotates the lance tube in the one direction; a first nozzle which is connected to the one end of the lance tube and discharges steam to the inlet port; and a second nozzle which is disposed adjacent to the first nozzle and connected to the one end of the lance tube and discharges solid particles to the inlet port, and the present disclosure relates to a method of cleaning a tubular heat exchanger by using the soot blower.
WURSTER ACCELERATOR WITH POWDER APPLICATOR
A Wurster processor and a powder feed system are coupled via an eductor so as to supply dry powder through the air diverter sleeve of the Wurster for discharging onto the circulating particles during operation of the Wurster. Agglomeration and aggregation of the particles is eliminated or minimized by isolating or separating the liquid spray by the spray gun from the dry powder.
Expanding nozzle for component additions in a concrete truck, and method and system for use of same
A nozzle, including a support member and a nozzle boot surrounding at least a portion of the support member, the nozzle boot having a nozzle boot inlet and a nozzle boot outlet spaced from the nozzle boot inlet and a volume between the nozzle boot inlet and the nozzle boot outlet, the nozzle boot being expandable upon the introduction of fluid into the volume, and collapsible upon withdrawal of fluid from the volume. Also disclosed is a method of removing unwanted concrete from a surface by creating tensile stress to concrete adhered to that surface by causing the surface to expand, and a system for injecting fluid (s) into a rotating drum.
HOSE-END SPREADER
A hose-end spreader device includes a hopper configured to contain an amount of granular product, the hopper comprising a hopper inlet and a hopper outlet in communication with the hopper inlet. The device further includes a first chamber in communication with the hopper outlet, the first chamber comprising a first opening through which the granular product exits the device, and a first impeller disposed in the first chamber. Also included are a housing disposed below the first chamber, the housing comprising a fluid inlet, a second chamber in communication with the fluid inlet, and a second opening in communication with the second chamber through which a fluid exits the device, and a second impeller disposed in the second chamber. The second impeller is coupled to the first impeller.
RAPID CURE PAINT TECHNOLOGY
The present disclosure relates to a road marking paint composition for painting a coating a road substrate adapted for accelerated cure by exposure to UV light.
Printing system using vibration-driven particle applicator
An apparatus includes a jet that applies a liquid binder to an application surface and a particle applicator. The particle applicator includes a particle reservoir with at least one movable surface, an electrically controlled actuator that causes vibrations of the movable surface, and a dispersal port though which particles can exit the particle reservoir. A controller is coupled to cause the vibrations via the actuator. The vibrations result in movement of the particles through the dispersal port towards the liquid binder on the application surface.
