MOBILE FLUID EXPULSION DEVICE
An apparatus and method are provided for expelling a fluid, including vapor and liquid sprays. A spray is expelled at high velocities from a heated chamber via an exit valve. The chamber includes a flow member or structure that directs and controls the flow of the fluid from an inlet orifice to an outlet orifice along a non-linear path. This prevents the liquid from moving in a wave motion within the chamber if the apparatus is moved.
System for effecting an exothermic reaction in a nozzle to drive a phase change from a liquid to a gas
A device is described herein for priming and stimulating a fluid that enters a nozzle such that when the fluid experiences a phase change from liquid to gas, said phase change releases energy latent within molecules or atoms of any of the interior surface of the nozzle and the fluid, producing an energy release, thereby enabling that phase-changed gas to be used to generate energy using well-known techniques in the prior art.
AGENTS AND METHODS FOR THE TEMPORARY SHAPING OF KERATIN-CONTAINING FIBERS
The disclosure relates to a cosmetic product, comprising a) a cosmetic preparation, containing, in relation to its total weight, a1) from about 60 to about 98 wt. % of at least one polar solvent; a2) from about 0.5 to about 20 wt. % of at least one copolymer from i) vinylpyrrolidone ii) vinyl acetate iii) and optionally other monomers; b) a device for flash evaporation of the cosmetic preparation a), and to a method using corresponding products and to the use of the cosmetic preparation a) as process material in a device for flash evaporation.
AGENTS AND METHODS FOR THE TEMPORARY SHAPING OF KERATIN-CONTAINING FIBERS
The disclosure relates to a cosmetic product, comprising a) a cosmetic preparation, containing, in relation to its total weight, a1) 60 to 98 wt. % of at least one polar solvent; a2) 0.1 to 20 wt. % of at least one copolymer from i) styrene ii) methacrylic acid iii) and optionally other monomers; b) a device for flash evaporation of the cosmetic preparation a), and to a method using corresponding products and to the use of the cosmetic preparation a) as process material in a device for flash evaporation.
Soot blower and method of cleaning tubular heat exchanger by using the same
The present disclosure relates to a soot blower including: a lance tube which includes one end that reciprocally moves in one direction on a surface of an inlet port of a flow path of the tubular heat exchanger; a drive unit which is connected to the lance tube and reciprocally moves and rotates the lance tube in the one direction; a first nozzle which is connected to the one end of the lance tube and discharges steam to the inlet port; and a second nozzle which is disposed adjacent to the first nozzle and connected to the one end of the lance tube and discharges solid particles to the inlet port, and the present disclosure relates to a method of cleaning a tubular heat exchanger by using the soot blower.
TEMPERED PORTABLE WASH UNIT
The tempered portable wash unit generally includes a container having an interior for selectively receiving and retaining a select quantity of fluid. A dispenser may be coupled with the container and be in fluid communication with the fluid retaining interior, the dispenser being actuable between a first closed position restricting outflow of fluid from the container and a second open position permitting dispensing fluid from the container. A heat trace cable may couple with the container and be positioned therewith for generating variable heat along its length thereof in response to changes in localized temperatures to generally maintain the temperature of the fluid within the container within a desired threshold temperature comprising a range of 60° F. to 100° F. in ambient atmospheric temperatures as low as −30° Fahrenheit (“F”) and in compliance with an ANSI Class 1 Div. 1 classification.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MINIMIZING ICE BUILD UP WITHIN BLAST NOZZLE AND AT EXIT
A method and apparatus keeps ice from interfering with the flow of cryogenic particles entrained in a flow exiting a blast nozzle during continuous operation of a particle blast system. A fluid stream having appropriate temperature, moisture content and flow rate flows through an annular passageway which surrounds the nozzle.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR DISPENSING SPRAY WAX AND BREAK STRIP EXTRUSIONS
The present disclosure relates to provided methods and systems comprising a hot melt machine having a heated hose connected to a heated dispensing gun. The present disclosure also provides a method and system for automating the creating and joining break strips.
DEVICE AND PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OFFINE FAT PARTICLES
A device and to a process which can be carried out using the device, for the production of fine particles from a liquid which solidifies upon cooling, in particular from liquid fat. The process has the advantage of producing fine particles of very small size, preferably with narrow size distribution. The device has the advantage that a solidifying liquid can be supplied at a temperature above its solidification temperature, without cooling gas leading to solidification of the liquid in the supply line, which cooling gas is used in the production of the particles.
Nose-to-brain drug delivery device
A nose-to-brain drug delivery device is provided. The nose-to-brain drug delivery device includes a freeze-dried drug container for storing a freeze-dried drug, a restoring solvent container for storing a solvent for thawing the freeze-dried drug, a membrane for preventing the freeze-dried drug from being mixed with the solvent, and a compressor for providing a driving force. The membrane is opened by the driving force of the compressor to mix the freeze-dried drug with the solvent, thereby thawing the freeze-dried drug, and the thawed drug is sprayed by the driving force of the compressor.
