AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR SYSTEMS INCLUDING HANDHELD EXTRUDER
A repair system that includes a handheld device comprising a first extruder tip having an interior passageway extending between an inlet and a tip outlet, wherein the inlet is configured to receive a solid thermoplastic material and the tip outlet is configured to dispense a fluidic thermoplastic material; a nozzle surrounding the first extruder tip to form an annulus between an interior surface of the nozzle and an exterior surface of the first extruder tip; and a heater that is configured to heat the interior passageway of the first extruder tip such that the solid thermoplastic material becomes the fluidic thermoplastic material. In some embodiments, the repair system also includes a gas source in fluid communication with the annulus such that a skirt-shaped curtain of gas extends from the annulus and in a direction towards the tip outlet of the extruder tip.
Glue Pen
An ergonomic glue pen employs a spring-loaded advancing assembly for advancing a glue stick toward a heater. When the proper temperature is reached, a trigger is depressed to dispense glue through a forward nozzle. In some embodiments, the nozzle changes color when the proper temperature is obtained. A button at the side of the glue pen is manually displaceable by the user. The glue stick is loaded at the rear of the glue pen via a one-way collet. The trigger preferably interacts with the advancing assembly via a spring-loaded ratchet mechanism.
Glue Gun Dispensing Nozzle Indicator
A glue gun dispensing nozzle indicator changes color when a heater element exceeds a transition temperature. In one embodiment, the temperature indicator changes from a blue color to a red color to indicate that the temperature is sufficient so that the glue gun may dispense molten glue. Temperature dependent color pigments are applied as coatings to the indicator.
Glue Gun
A glue gun is adapted to receive a glue stick and to feed the glue stick forwardly a heater subassembly. A trigger is sequentially operated to advance the glue stick. The heater assembly transforms the glue stick into molten glue which is dispensed through a frontal nozzle of the glue gun. The glue gun has a temperature indicator. The glue gun is exteriorly ergonomically configured for facile usage.
Adhesive dispensing system
A system including an adhesive dispensing device and a charger base. The adhesive dispensing device includes a first light emitting device, a handle, a power source, and a power supply interface. The charger base includes a second light emitting device, an interface formed for receiving the adhesive dispensing device, an external power output interface, and a power supply circuit. The external power output interface is configured to electrically couple to the power supply interface of the adhesive dispensing device. The first light emitting device is configured to illuminate in response to power being provided to the power supply interface from the power supply circuit. The second light emitting device is configured to illuminate in response to power being provided to the power supply circuit from the external power output interface.
Heating device for hot melt glue gun
The invention relates to a heating device for a hot melt glue gun, comprising a tip and a heating piece; the tip comprises a connecting portion, a tapered heating portion and a glue output portion which are connected in turn; the inner cavities of the connecting portion, the tapered heating portion and the glue output portion communicate with one another in turn; at least one straight wall parallel to the axis of the tapered heating portion is disposed on the outer wall of the tapered heating portion, and the inner wall of the heating piece fits tightly with the straight wall; the heating device for a hot melt glue gun has a rational structure and high accuracy, is conveniently assembled and tightly fitted, accelerates the melting of the glue rod, and enhances the utilization efficiency of the hot melt glue gun.
Device and method for melting a hot-melt adhesive
The invention relates to a device (1) for melting a hot-melt adhesive (3), comprising a heating plate (5), a plunger (7), the plunger (7) comprising a plunger end face (9), and a mounting (11), wherein the mounting (11) is suitable for receiving a storage container (13), which has a rigid lateral wall (15) and two opposite side faces (17, 19) and contains the hot-melt adhesive (3), in such a manner that the hot-melt adhesive (3) is arranged between the plunger (7) and the to heating plate (5), and the plunger end face (9) and the heating plate (5) are arranged opposite one another, wherein the heating plate (5), the plunger (7) and the mounting (11) are so dimensioned that the storage container (13) having an inner volume (21) of more than 50 L can be received. The invention relates further to a method for melting a hot-melt adhesive.
ADHESIVE DISPENSING SYSTEM
A system including an adhesive dispensing device and a charger base. The adhesive dispensing device includes a first light emitting device, a handle, a power source, and a power supply interface. The charger base includes a second light emitting device, an interface formed for receiving the adhesive dispensing device, an external power output interface, and a power supply circuit. The first light emitting device is configured to illuminate in response to power being provided to the power supply interface from the power supply circuit. The second light emitting device is configured to illuminate in response to power being provided to the power supply circuit from the external power output interface.
Hot melt glue gun having needle valve
A hand-held hot melt glue gun having a melt chamber, a needle and a nozzle that is movable with respect to the needle to open or close a discharge port in fluid communication with the melt chamber. A spring closure urges the needle and nozzle toward relative positions to close the discharge port. An opening element moves the nozzle with respect to the needle to open the discharge port, and a trigger mechanism is provided for advancing solid glue into the melt chamber and for operating the opening element. A time delay mechanism provides a time delay between the opening of the discharge port and advancement of glue into the melt chamber.
Fitting tube structure of glue gun
A fitting tube structure of a glue gun contains: a conical connection part, an accommodation chamber, a feeding segment, and an open segment. The fitting assembly includes a first fixing tube, an O ring, a second fixing tube, a stop sleeve, a locating ring, and a coupling tube. The first fixing tube has a stepped portion. The O ring is retained between the stepped portion and the second fixing tube. The stop sleeve is fitted on the first fixing tube and has a large-diameter extension and a small-diameter extension, and the large-diameter extension covers the first fixing tube and is fitted on the large-diameter extension by using the locating ring. The coupling tube is fixed on the small-diameter extension. Furthermore, the first fixing tube, the second fixing tube, and the stop sleeve are fitted and are fixed by the locating ring and the coupling tube.
