Paint edging system and apparatus
A paint edging tool that deliver paint with sharp, clear edges at wall junctions. The paint edging tool includes a base wherein the base may include a handle, at least one wheel, a painting pad, a built-in-deflector, and at least one pad ejector. The handle may be configured to allow rotation between multiple positions. The handle may further include an adapter wherein the adapter is configured to be mounted on the handle, thereby allowing a pivoting motion in relation to the wall. The base may include at least one lobe, wherein the lobe is configured to be located on each side of the base, and is further configured to connect with the at least one wheel. The painting pad may be configured to be notched around the at least one deflector and the at least one wheel in order to allow painting inside a corner area of a wall.
PAINT APPLICATOR ASSEMBLY
A paint edger for applying paint with a paint applicator pad that is coupled to the paint edger. The paint edger includes a frame having a base with a forward side, a rear side, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side opposite the first lateral side, the first lateral side defines a first edge. The paint edger also includes an ejection mechanism supported by the frame. The ejection mechanism defines a second edge adjacent the second lateral side of the base. The ejection mechanism includes an actuator. The actuator is operable to move the second edge relative to the frame to uncouple the paint applicator pad from the paint edger.
Distributor head for a distributor apparatus and distributor apparatus
A distributor head for a distributor apparatus for distributing fluids onto a surface includes an elongate base element having a fluid volume to receive the fluid, a filling opening connected in a fluid-communicating manner to the fluid volume to fill the fluid into the fluid volume, and a plurality of distributor openings connected in a fluid-communicating manner to the fluid volume to distribute the fluid from the fluid volume. The filling opening arranged at a first longitudinal side of the distributor head and the plurality of distributor openings arranged at a second longitudinal side of the distributor head, the first longitudinal side arranged opposite the second longitudinal side, and the plurality of distributor openings continuously formed in a wall of the base element.
Fluid Dispensing System
A variety of dispensing manifolds which are removable connectable to a single deformable container having a single exit portion are disclosed. The dispensing manifolds of the present disclosure provide a single deformable container having a single exit with one or more outlets from which a fluid can be controllably dispensed. The present disclosure also provides a single force generation mechanism, a deformable container holding a fluid or substance, and dispensing mechanisms all on one machine, i.e., a carrier; a system that may also include a pressurized air source that assists a flow of a fluid; and a system that allows for a continuous flow a substance. The systems of the present disclosure provide a deformable container and a method of dispensing wherein, during dispensing, an actuation member is continuously free of contact with the fluid or substance within the container and the actuation member only contacts the exterior surface of the deformable container.
Methods for applying a glutinous substance
A method includes contacting a first guide, coupled to a body of a nozzle, with a first side of an object; biasing a gate toward the first guide so that a second guide contacts a second side of the object; moving the nozzle along the object while maintaining the first guide in contact with the first side, and the second guide in contact with the second side; and applying the bead of the glutinous substance to the surface via an outlet opening of the nozzle while moving the nozzle along the object, wherein width of the bead and flow of the glutinous substance through the outlet opening are controlled via movement of the gate relative to the body.
Fluid Dispensing Systems
A variety of dispensing manifolds which are removable connectable to a single deformable container having a single exit portion are disclosed. The dispensing manifolds of the present disclosure provide a single deformable container having a single exit with one or more outlets from which a fluid can be controllably dispensed. The present disclosure also provides a single force generation mechanism, a deformable container holding a fluid or substance, and dispensing mechanisms all on one machine, i.e., a carrier; a system that may also include a pressurized air source that assists a flow of a fluid; and a system that allows for a continuous flow a substance. The systems of the present disclosure provide a deformable container and a method of dispensing wherein, during dispensing, an actuation member is continuously free of contact with the fluid or substance within the container and the actuation member only contacts the exterior surface of the deformable container.
METHODS FOR APPLYING A GLUTINOUS SUBSTANCE
A method (200) includes contacting a first guide (116), coupled to a body (110) of a nozzle (100), with a first side (108) of an object (104); biasing a gate (130) toward the first guide (116) so that a second guide (132) contacts a second side (109) of the object (104); moving the nozzle (100) along the object (104) while maintaining the first guide (116) in contact with the first side (108), and the second guide (132) in contact with the second side (109); and applying the bead (103) of the glutinous substance (101) to the surface (102) via an outlet opening (114) of the nozzle (100) while moving the nozzle (100) along the object (104), wherein width of the bead (103) and flow of the glutinous substance (101) through the outlet opening (114) are controlled via movement of the gate (130) relative to the body (110).

Apparatuses for applying a glutinous substance
A nozzle for applying a bead of a glutinous substance to a surface of an object comprises a body, a first guide, a gate, a second guide, and a biasing member. The body comprises an inlet opening and an outlet opening, joined by a channel. The first guide is coupled to the body. The gate is translatably coupled to the body. Movement of the gate relative to the body controls flow of the glutinous substance through the outlet opening, and width of the bead. The second guide is coupled to the gate. The biasing member is coupled to the body and to the gate. The biasing member urges the gate toward the first guide.
INTEGRATED PIPE LOCATING AND MARKING SYSTEM
A locating and marking device. The device has one or more antennas capable of detecting a signal emanating from an underground line. A marking device, such as a paint canister, is located on the frame of the device. This marking device leaves a physical or virtual mark at an above-ground path overlying the underground line. A processor receives signals from the antennas and directs the device to place the marking device above the above-ground path. The marking device may move back and forth on a frame of the device, or the device may steer to maintain the marking device in the proper position.
