A nozzle (100) for applying a bead (103) of a glutinous substance (101) to a surface (102) of an object (104) comprises a body (110), a first guide (116), a gate (130), a second guide (132), and a biasing member (150). The body (110) comprises an inlet opening (112) and an outlet opening (114), joined by a channel (115). The first guide (116) is coupled to the body (110). The gate (130) is translatably coupled to the body (110). Movement of the gate (130) relative to the body (110) controls flow of the glutinous substance (101) through the outlet opening (114), and width of the bead (103). The second guide (132) is coupled to the gate (130). The biasing member (150) is coupled to the body (110) and to the gate (130). The biasing member (150) urges the gate (130) toward the first guide (116).
HANDLE ASSEMBLY FOR A FINISHER BOX
A handle assembly for a finisher box including a first tube including a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The first tube defines a longitudinal axis extending between the first and second ends. The handle assembly includes a second tube disposed within the first tube. The second tube is movable relative to the first tube along the longitudinal axis. The first tube includes a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The handle assembly includes a connecting plate pivotably supported by the second end of the second tube. The connecting plate is configured to be coupled to the finisher box to support the finisher box from the handle assembly. The handle assembly includes a brake assembly with a brake handle coupled to the first end of the first tube. The brake assembly is configured to selectively inhibit pivoting movement of the connecting plate.
Fluid dispensing system
A variety of dispensing manifolds which are removable connectable to a single deformable container having a single exit portion are disclosed. The dispensing manifolds of the present disclosure provide a single deformable container having a single exit with one or more outlets from which a fluid can be controllably dispensed. The present disclosure also provides a single force generation mechanism, a deformable container holding a fluid or substance, and dispensing mechanisms all on one machine, i.e., a carrier; a system that may also include a pressurized air source that assists a flow of a fluid; and a system that allows for a continuous flow a substance. The systems of the present disclosure provide a deformable container and a method of dispensing wherein, during dispensing, an actuation member is continuously free of contact with the fluid or substance within the container and the actuation member only contacts the exterior surface of the deformable container.

Paint applicator assembly
A paint edger for applying paint with a paint applicator pad that is coupled to the paint edger. The paint edger includes a frame having a base with a forward side, a rear side, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side opposite the first lateral side, the first lateral side defines a first edge. The paint edger also includes an ejection mechanism supported by the frame. The ejection mechanism defines a second edge adjacent the second lateral side of the base. The ejection mechanism includes an actuator. The actuator is operable to move the second edge relative to the frame to uncouple the paint applicator pad from the paint edger.
DISTRIBUTOR HEAD FOR A DISTRIBUTOR APPARATUS AND DISTRIBUTOR APPARATUS
A distributor head for a distributor apparatus for distributing fluids onto a surface includes an elongate base element having a fluid volume to receive the fluid, a filling opening connected in a fluid-communicating manner to the fluid volume to fill the fluid into the fluid volume, and a plurality of distributor openings connected in a fluid-communicating manner to the fluid volume to distribute the fluid from the fluid volume. The filling opening arranged at a first longitudinal side of the distributor head and the plurality of distributor openings arranged at a second longitudinal side of the distributor head, the first longitudinal side arranged opposite the second longitudinal side, and the plurality of distributor openings continuously formed in a wall of the base element.
Adaptor for increasing efficiency of a caulking procedure
The disclosed device is an adapter to an existing caulking methodology. The adapter is configured to perform the activity of protective taping, scraping and cleaning of excess compound to occur simultaneously with caulking. The disclosed adapter removably attaches to cannister holding cradle of a calking gun. At least one front roller presses a strip of tape against a side of an area being caulked or finished, with tape being drawn from a tape roller in back of the front roller.
Hand tool for application of a viscous material with movable guide
A tool for applying a viscous material to a surface. The tool comprises: a body having a frame including at least a partial wall defining a cavity having a size for removably receiving a dispensing container that contains the viscous material; a dispensing assembly that is operatively coupled to the body and has a forcing member for applying force to the dispensing container to dispense the viscous material; (3) a control element attached to the body for controlling the application of the applied force by the movable member of the dispensing assembly; and (4) a guide movably attached to the body, the guide being movable between an operating position and a storage position.
SEMI-AUTOMATED LASER-GUIDED MECHANISM TO APPLY PASTE BEAD IN BONDING PROCESS FOR FABRICATION OF WIND TURBINE BLADES
Devices, systems, and methods of improving paste flow during the manufacture of wind turbine blades are provided. An apparatus for applying adhesive to a composite structure (e.g. wind turbine blade) comprises a paste shoe having a top surface with an aperture to receive a supply of adhesive, and two legs extending downwardly from the top surface and configured to engage a surface of the composite structure to define an interior volume within the paste shoe. A transport mechanism (e.g. wheels, treads) are disposed on each leg to move the paste shoe relative to the composite structure while adhesive is dispensed within the interior volume. A force applicator, applies a force to the paste shoe to maintain a constant interior volume and thus a uniform bead of paste is applied to the composite structure.
