LIGHT CONTROL FILM AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The present disclosure provides a light control film and a method of manufacturing the same. The method includes providing a microstructured film. The microstructured film includes a plurality of light transmissive regions alternated with channels. The microstructure film is defined by a top surface and a pair of side surfaces of each light transmissive region and a bottom surface of each channel. The method further includes coating the pair of side surfaces of each light transmissive region and the bottom surface of each channel with a coating. The coating includes light absorbing particles that are dispersed in a liquid. The method further includes drying the coating such that the light absorbing particles are selectively deposited on the pair of sides surfaces of each light transmissive region.
PRODUCTION METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR APPLYING FAUX WOOD GRAIN FINISH ON MATERIAL
A method and apparatus for applying a faux wood grain finish to plastic architectural plastic boards. The method employs a climate-controlled area for denibbing of boards to prepare a surface and a sprayer to achieve a desired depth of color. A wiper spreads the sprayed on material to form a faux grain finish which may include faux wood knots. The boards are directed through a combination infrared and convection oven having independent curing zones providing specific drying profiles. Once cured, the boards are cooled with forced air cool down fans and transferred into a climate-controlled area for applying a topcoat. The topcoat board is passed through an oven set to a defined temperature for curing and cooled down with forced air cool down fans before packaging and shipping.
Mid-infrared lens and manufacturing method thereof
The present invention relates to a manufacturing method for a mid-infrared lens, which includes the following steps: placing a lens in the path of a far-infrared radiation source, enabling the lens to receive the far infrared rays; immersing the lens in a hardening liquid, causing the hardening liquid to coat the lens, wherein the hardening liquid is an intermixture of silicone and isopropanol or an intermixture of silicone and methanol, and a far-infrared material or a far-infrared composite material is additionally added to the hardening liquid; placing the lens coated with the hardening liquid in a drying space to dry, causing the hardening liquid to dry and harden and form a hardened layer on the surface of the lens. The temperature of the drying space lies between 80 and 120° C., and the drying time lies between 1 and 10 hours.
FOOD PACKAGING
A method of manufacturing food packaging comprising a receptacle 100 of a final shape and a coating 600. The method comprises fabricating the receptacle 100 from raw materials, the raw materials comprising a fibrous material and a biopolymer; applying at least one layer of the coating 600 to the receptacle 100, the coating 600 comprising a biopolymer coating; and drying the at least one layer of the coating 600.
APPLICATION OR FILM FORMATION METHOD FOR PARTICULATE MATTER
[Problem] Upon application or film formation of a particulate matter to/on an object, the particulate matter moving with a speed is heated in a time duration from a suction port for particulate matter to the object, thereby softening or melting at least some of the particulate matter when the particulate matter is applied to the object.
[Solution] A particulate matter is heated by means of induction heating or laser in a time duration from a suction port for particulate matter to an object, so that at least some of the particulate matter is softened or melted at a relatively low temperature on the object in synergy with the collision energy of the particulate matter with the object, thereby enabling the application or film formation of the particulate matter.
Device for lacquer transfer
A device for lacquer transfer is disclosed having a frame, a nozzle with a dispensing end for dispensing lacquer, and a transfer roller with a circumferential lateral wall, a circumferential outer contact surface of the lateral wall comprises several depressions, wherein the nozzle and the transfer roller are arranged such that lacquer is dispensable from the dispensing end onto the outer contact surface and into the depressions, wherein the transfer roller is configured to roll with the outer contact surface on a work surface of a workpiece for transferring the lacquer from the outer contact surface and from the depressions to the work surface of the workpiece. A first hardening unit is formed as a UV-light unit configured for partially hardening the lacquer in a contactless way by emitting UV-light, the first hardening unit is arranged within an interior space defined by the transfer roller. The lateral wall of the transfer roller is transparent for UV-light, and the first hardening unit is arranged such that UV-light is emittable towards the work surface in a first operational area of the work surface to partially harden the lacquer in the first operational area.
