A system and method may dynamically control and/or dynamically adjust haptic output based on a particular application or context within which the output is to be generated. This may allow for output of an appropriate level of vibratory, or haptic output, that is dynamically tailored, or dynamically adjusted, for the particular situation, or application, or context for which the output is generated. This may include a mode in which an output having a relatively high peak amplitude is desired or most effective for the particular situation, or application, or context, a mode in which a relatively large bandwidth is desired or most effective for the particular situation, or application, or context, and the like.

Eccentric vibrator systems and methods

An apparatus that generates vibrational motion is disclosed. The apparatus includes a first mass, a second mass, a drive system, and a control system. The first mass is eccentrically mounted on, and configured to rotate about, a first shaft. The second mass is eccentrically mounted on, and configured to rotate about, a second shaft, with first and second shafts sharing a common axis. The drive system imparts rotational motion to first and second shafts, and the control system controls rotational frequencies, directions, and initial angles of the first and second masses. Linear, elliptical, or circular vibratory motion of the apparatus may be induced by controlling such rotational properties of the first and second masses. The apparatus may include a measurement device that measures angular position and/or velocity of the first and second masses. The control system may control the vibrational motion based on measurements taken by the measurement device.

Provided is a repetitive moment generating device that can be used for a fatigue testing machine and allows for a change in an amplitude of a repetitive moment to be imparted on a test piece even during rotation of an eccentric weight. A repetitive moment generating device includes: eccentric weight members provided at shaft bodies in a state where the eccentric weight members intersect the rotatably held shaft bodies and in a state where the eccentric weight members are slidable in a direction that intersects the shaft bodies; sliders that are attached to the shaft bodies in a state where the sliders are slidable in a direction of shaft centers of the shaft bodies and in a state where the shaft bodies are able to idle; link mechanisms that convert sliding motion of the sliders in the directions of the shaft centers into sliding motion in a direction that intersects the shaft bodies and transmit the sliding motion to the eccentric weight members; handle that are operation means for causing the sliders to slide in the directions of the shaft centers of the shaft bodies; and the like.

Filter stand agitator for brewing, steeping or infusing a liquid

Device and method embodiments discussed herein may be used to enhance a brewing process, extraction process, steeping process or infusing process. Such infusion processes may be used for making coffee, tea, oil, alcohol or any other suitable infused liquid where a user desires to enhance or control such a process.
