REFINER, INSTALLATION AND METHOD FOR TREATING COMPOSITE PRODUCTS
The invention relates to a refiner (1) for treating composite products made from thermoplastic material(s), comprising an enclosure (3) with a cylindrical wall, defining a treatment chamber provided with at least one feed opening (5) for products to be treated and at least one outlet opening (5′) for treated products, and a cylindrical drum (6), mounted so as to be able to move in the cylindrical enclosure (3) and having a diameter smaller than that of the latter, the longitudinal axes of symmetry of the outer enclosure (3) and the inner drum (6) respectively being parallel to each other,
the refiner (1) being characterized in that it comprises a means for heating the treatment chamber (4) and in that the drum (6) is mounted in the outer enclosure (3) so that it is able to move in rotation about its longitudinal axis (A2) and so that its longitudinal axis (A2) is able to move along a circular path around the longitudinal axis of said enclosure (3), the two types of possible movements mentioned above being controlled by separate drive and/or actuation means allowing them to be effected selectively or in combination.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR RECOVERING METAL USING A HELIX SEPARATOR
This application describes method and systems for recovering metals from metal-containing material. Some embodiments of the disclosed method include one or more of the following three steps: (1) sizing, (2) separating using the helix separator, and (3) collecting. A system can execute these steps.
Patterned rolled zinc alloy sheet
The present disclosure concerns specially patterned zinc sheets for coverage and protection of building roofs and facades. A recurrent problem linked with the use of zinc sheets in building applications is the development of white rust. As the complete avoidance of white rust is difficult to achieve, additional means to reduce its impact are most welcome. It is now proposed to limit the visibility of white rust by providing a camouflaging pattern on the surface of the zinc. The invention more specifically concerns an unweathered rolled zinc alloy sheet with at least one patterned face having an optical reflectivity that varies from region to region, characterized in that said regions are of a pseudo-random shape, having characteristic dimensions in the range of 0.1 mm to 10 cm; and in that the optical reflectivity, when measured across the sheet in any arbitrary direction, presents a specular reflectivity RMS deviation of more than 3 GU and/or a diffuse reflectivity RMS deviation of more than 0.2. A laser-aided imprinting process is disclosed to generate suitable camouflage patterns on the zinc.
Screening device and method for separating dry granular material
A screening device for separating dry granular material into a fine fraction and a coarse fraction is provided. The screening device includes a drum screen defined by an open rotatable frame, which frame defines a circumferential wall, and a sheet-like screen arranged over the circumferential wall of the frame. The screening device also includes a driving device by means of which the drum screen is rotatably driven, a feed opening at a short end of the drum screen and a discharge opening at the opposite short end of the drum screen. The screening device further includes a vibration device which rotates along with the drum screen, which vibration device includes one or more vibrating elements mounted to the drum screen, which set the drum screen vibrating in use. A method for separating dry granular material into a fine fraction and a coarse fraction is also provided.
