Screen panel locking system
A screening apparatus includes a plurality of spaced apart parallel beams and a plurality of screen panels mounted to the beams to form a planar screening surface. The panels are mounted to the beams by fixing members that extend in the longitudinal direction of the beams and that engage side edges of the panels. The fixing members have a pair of upstanding, longitudinal rails that are spaced apart to define a longitudinal gap between them and the panels are mounted to the beams by engagement between side edges of each panel with a rail of a fixing member. The side edges of each panel include an overhang that overlies an upper end of each rail and that extends into the gap between the rails. The rails and the overhang include locating gaps to receive a locking member to locate panels relative to the fixing members.
Screening for classifying a material
A screening or screen for use in classifying material. The screening includes a plurality of warp screening elements. Preferably, the plurality of warp screening elements is a plurality of warp wires. The plurality of warp screening elements includes a first warp screening element having a plurality of horizontal undulations. The plurality of warp screening elements further includes a second warp screening element. Preferably, one of the first warp screening element and the second warp screening element is a shaped wire having two substantially flat sidewalls. At least one retaining member is operably associated with the plurality of warp screening elements to form an integral screen segment having a plurality of openings for permitting material to be classified to pass through the openings. The first warp screening element has a cross-sectional height or shape different from the cross-sectional height or shape of the second warp screening element.
Collection and sifting device for vacuumed debris
A collection and sifting device provides a flexibly resilient truncated funnel shaped body having a top circumferential edge extending around an open top portion, and a spaced apart bottom circumferential edge extending about a diametrically smaller closed bottom portion with a sidewall extending between the top circumferential edge and the bottom circumferential edge. A plurality of spacedly arrayed through holes are defined in the bottom portion and in the sidewall proximate the bottom portion. Each spacedly arrayed through hole has a diameter smaller than a diameter of a U.S. dime. A bottom cap is releasably securable to the body to optionally obstruct the plurality of through holes.
Sorting and sifting methods and apparatus, and loader attachments and methods
An attachment configured to be captured and lifted by a bucket of a vehicle includes a back end proximate the bucket, in operation; a left side; a right side; a front end distal from the bucket, the front end defining a bottom surface; connection means for receiving a forward edge of the bucket, wherein the bucket can engage and lift the attachment; and means defining a material handling area between the left side, right side, front end, and back end, the material handling area including apertures for sifting, wherein material rolls up into the material handling area when the attachment moves forward so that material can be sifted in the sifting area.
Screen cloth for vibrating, rotating or stationary screens
A screen cloth for use in a screening device for screening out oversize objects in a material flowing in a direction is provided, comprising a metal plate having a perimeter and comprising a plurality of openings therethrough and forming a grid having longitudinal ligaments substantially parallel to the direction of the material flow and transverse ligaments substantially perpendicular to the direction of the material flow, the metal plate having an impact surface and a bottom surface; a coating or liner comprising an elastomer, coating or lining at least the impact surface of the metal plate or a portion thereof; and a wear material at least partially embedded into the elastomer coating or liner, or a portion thereof.
Screening device
A screening arrangement including two side walls, each having an inward facing side and an outward facing side, and a screen holder arrangement extending between the inward facing sides of the side walls for use in connecting a first and a second screening element. The screen holder arrangement includes a first screen connector and a second screen connector. The first screen connector includes a pivotable element arranged to pivot about an axis that is parallel with a longitudinal extension of the first screen connector. The pivotable element includes a connection portion arranged to hold one end of the first screening element. The pivotable element is arranged to pivot between a first position and a second position, where the pivotable element is arranged such that when it is in the second position and a screen is connected to the pivotable element, particles larger than a predetermined size are prevented from passing between the first and second screen connectors.

Method and apparatuses for screening
A screening machine includes wall members, screen assembly guide members, a screen assembly and a compression assembly. The screen assembly includes a frame with a plurality of side members and a screen supported by the frame. The compression assembly is attached to at least one wall member and forms the screen assembly into a concave shape.
