Method and apparatus for singulating particles in a stream

Particles are sorted into paths based on a measurable parameter by forming them into a stream in at least one duct carried on a body rotating around an axis where the duct is shaped so that the particles are accelerated to cause the particles separated into the duct to be aligned one after another in a row in the duct. The parameter of the particles are measured in the aligned stream one after the other and the particles are directed into one of a plurality of paths as determined by the measurement. In one arrangement the body comprises a disk member having a front face facing a supply conduit and the duct lies in a radial plane of the disk member. In one arrangement the measurement of the parameter is carried out by one or more measurement devices either carried on the disk or outside the edge of the disk.

Linear object removal method, linear object removal device, and electronic/electric apparatus component scrap processing method

Provided is a method for removing wire-form objects, a device for removing wire-form objects, and a method for processing electronic/electrical apparatus component waste, which can efficiently sort wire-form objects from sorting target objects having various shapes. The method for removing wire-form objects includes: arranging a plurality of filters 3 in a vibrating sieve machine 1 such that the filters 3 are adjacent to each other so as to partially overlap with each other in a feed direction of a raw material, each of the filters including a plurality of rods 2 extending at distances in the feed direction and a beam portion 21 for supporting the plurality of rods 2 at one ends 2a of the plurality of rods 2, the other ends 2b of the plurality of rods 2 being free ends; and feeding a raw material containing at least wire-form objects and plate-form objects into the vibrating sieve machine 1; and vibrating the filters 3 to sieve out the wire-form objects toward an under-sieve side of the vibrating sieve machine 1.

WASTE TREATMENT DEVICE AND RELATED MOUNTING METHOD
20220388008 · 2022-12-08 ·

A waste treatment device for separating recyclable material from other waste comprising: —a first substantially cylindrical cavity inside which the waste to be treated is introduced; —a shaft, rotating about its axis, in the centre of the cylindrical cavity; —screening meshes which separate the cylindrical cavity from a second underlying cavity inside which waste material is collected; —hammers attached at a first end to the shaft so as to be able to rotate in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the shaft. The hammers are provided with a respective scraper terminating in an edge remaining directed in a direction substantially parallel to the axis of the rotating shaft and projecting longitudinally beyond the end of the hammer so as to pass at a nominal minimum distance from the screening mesh. A related mounting method for a waste treatment device is also disclosed.
