CLASSIFICATION AND SORTING WITH SINGLE-BOARD COMPUTERS
A material handling system sorts materials utilizing a vision system of multiple vision devices configured with single board computers that each implement an artificial intelligence system in order to identify or classify materials, which are then sorted into separate groups based on such an identification or classification by sorting devices that are each coupled to one of the vision devices.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRODE, CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM, AND, ELECTRODE MATERIAL
An electrode material containing active material powder is prepared. Dry classification of the electrode material is performed by a classifier. An electrode is manufactured by using the electrode material subjected to the dry classification. The classifier includes a mesh screen, a blade, and a motor. Breakage of the mesh screen is detected by monitoring either or both of an operation sound of the classifier and torque of the motor. The electrode material contained in the classifier will no longer be used for manufacturing of the electrode when breakage of the mesh screen is detected.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SORTING AND TRADING SCRAP FOR RECYCLING
An apparatus and a method for separating or sorting parts and communicating information about said parts with the purpose of trading them. For example, an apparatus can include a fluidic section that comprises an input section configured to receive a plurality of parts. The fluidic section can include at least two branches extending from the input section, and each of these at least two branches can have an outlet through which the fluid or part of the fluid can be routed. The apparatus can include a set of sensors configured to capture information about the plurality of parts in the fluidic section. The apparatus can further include a set of actuators configured to effect, based on the information, a change in a movement of a set of parts from the plurality of parts such that the set of parts is distributed via the fluid to at least one of the at least two branches. The apparatus may further include electronic equipment for storing, analyzing, and communicating information about the plurality of parts. The invention is expected to support the sorting and trading of scrap and recycled materials.

Building material manufacturing apparatus and building material manufacturing method
Provided is a building material manufacturing apparatus and a building material manufacturing method that are suitable for efficiently manufacturing a building material while suppressing clogging of a sieve portion for sieving the building raw material. The building material manufacturing apparatus of the present invention includes, for example, a sieve portion 10 and a receiving tool 30. The sieve portion 10 includes a receiving and sending sheet 11 with no sieve openings, onto which the building raw material M is dropped, and at least one sieve sheet 12 with sieve openings that is located below the sheet. The receiving and sending sheet 11 and the sieve sheet 12 can perform undulating motion, are inclined, and are arranged side by side in the inclination direction. The receiving tool 30 is for receiving the building raw material M that has passed through the sieve openings of the sieve portion 10. In the building material manufacturing method of the present invention, for example, in a state in which the receiving and sending sheet 11 and the at least one sieve sheet 12 are performing undulating motion, the building raw material M is dropped onto the receiving and sending sheet 11, moved from the receiving and sending sheet 11 onto the sieve sheet 12, subjected to sieving by the sieve sheet 12, and the portion that passes through the sieve openings of the sieve sheet 12 is accumulated on the receiving tool 30, whereby a mat with at least one layer is formed.
Method and Sieve System for Screening Material
A sieve system includes a sieve for screening material by selectively passing first particles and not passing second particles of the material based on respective dimensions of the particles relative to dimensions of screening apertures in the sieve. A holding container feeds material to the sieve and a fines container receives the first particles screened by the sieve. A first fines container load is measured at a first time, and a second fines container load is measured at a second time. A fines rate is determined by a rate of change of the fines container load based on the measured first and second fines container loads and the first and second times. An operating condition of the sieve system is based on the fines rate and may provide an indication that the operation of the sieve, another component, or the sieve system as a whole is acceptable or unacceptable.
Rock processing machine having an improved control panel
A rock processing machine having functional units and a control panel that switches the rock processing machine, in a starting switching operation and, in a stopping switching operation. The control panel includes a plurality of state switching elements with which, for at least one functional unit, a state transition is associated in such a way that actuation of the state switching element on the functional unit brings about a state transition. A first set of switching elements participates in the starting switching operation, and a second set of switching elements, participates in the stopping switching operation; each set being arranged in a visually perceptible spatial arrangement that corresponds to a predetermined actuation sequence.
REMOVING AIRBAG MODULES FROM AUTOMOTIVE SCRAP
A system classifies materials utilizing a vision system that implements an artificial intelligence system in order to identify or classify and then remove automotive airbag modules from a scrap stream, which may have been produced from a shredding of end-of-life vehicles. The sorting process may be designed so that live airbag modules are not activated, which may cause damage to equipment or persons.
Shale Shaker System Having Sensors, and Method of Use
A shale shaker system. The system includes a fluid transport pipe configured to receive a stream of drill cuttings and fluid returns from a wellbore during a drilling operation; an analysis module configured to receive at least a portion of the stream of drill cuttings and fluid returns at an inlet; a cuttings chute configured to receive at least a portion of the stream of drill cuttings and fluid returns from an outlet of the container, and deliver them to a screen box; and one or more screens for filtering drill cuttings from the fluid returns. The analysis module comprises logging sensors configured to operate while drill cuttings are moving through the system. The logging sensors communicate with a processor to determine characteristics of the drill cuttings in real time. A method for analyzing drill cuttings at a well site is also provided.
