A curved guide shell is provided comprising a plurality of interconnected guide plates transversely arranged with respect to the intake air direction. The guide shell comprises a guide surface for guiding the intake air stream. The main housing comprises a plate connecting arrangement on opposing transverse sides of the main housing configured for releasable connection to opposing ends of each of the plurality of guide plates.

VIBRATORY FEEDING DEVICE FOR COMPACT DEDUSTING APPARATUS

A compact dedusting apparatus for cleaning particulate materials of contaminates and has a housing defining a cleaning area in which the contaminants are removed to create cleaned particulate material with a product discharge opening through which cleaned particulate material can be discharged. The dedusting apparatus includes an infeed apparatus having a vibratory feed pan powered by a vibration generator to induce vibrations therein. The dedusting apparatus also includes a Venturi chamber to remove contaminants from the particulate material by a flow of air passing upwardly through the product discharge opening. The dedusting apparatus further includes an interchangeable carryover deflector having a chamber extension member that aligns with internal structure to control the flow of particulate material into said Venturi chamber and deflects particulate material entrained in the air flow through the Venturi chamber toward the product discharge opening. The carryover deflector incorporates an observation window to view the dedusting operation.

SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING THE FLOW DISTRIBUTION OF SOLID PARTICLES

A turret includes a generally frusto-conical shaped body and a plurality of static straightening vanes arranged interior to the body, the vanes dividing the body into a plurality of substantially equal sections. The vanes are configured to straighten a swirling flow of solid particles as they enter the body, and to divide the swirling flow into a plurality of straightened flows that are communicated to a plurality of coal outlet pipes.

A discharge arrangement (120) for a comminution reactor assembly (100). The discharge arrangement (120) comprises a main chamber (202) extending along a main axis (124). The main chamber has an inlet (121) arranged to be fluidly connected to a comminution reactor (110) and an outlet (122) arranged opposite from the inlet (121) along the main axis (124) and closeable by a common material take-out valve (204). The main chamber (202) is arranged to support a fluid-material stream (123) along a helical path about the main axis (124) from the inlet (121) towards the outlet (122). The discharge arrangement (120) further comprises an airduct (206) arranged extending into the main chamber (202) at an acute angle (a) with respect to the main axis (124). The airduct (206) comprises an aperture arranged facing the outlet (122). Thereby, a portion (125) of the fluid-material stream (123) changes direction from the helical fluid-material stream (123) about the main axis (124) from the inlet (121) towards the outlet (122) to a helical flow inside the airduct (206).

Half round cylindrical configuration for dedusting apparatus

A half round dedusting apparatus for removes dust and debris from particulate material passing through the dedusting apparatus. The configuration of the dedusting apparatus includes a half round cylindrical housing in which is mounted a partial cone wash deck having a reverse partial cone deflector that is vertically moveable to vary the flow rate of particulate material passing over the wash deck. The product inlet port is preferably circular and directs contaminant-laden particulate material inside the deflector to pass over the surface of the wash deck. The housing has a greater diameter than the maximum diameter of the wash deck to establish a Venturi zone around the circumference of the wash deck. The wash deck and deflector are detachably mounted within the housing to allow removal thereof for ease of cleaning the wash deck and also the interior of the housing.
