Separation of granular particles
A system and method for separating granular particles according to particle size, and more particularly enhance ore grades by removing unwanted material. The system (10) comprises means (11) for transporting granular material (12) comprising multiple sized fractions with gradation of the particles according to particle size between relatively fine fractions and relatively coarse fractions, in a direction having a horizontal component; and subjecting the granular material (12) to vibration while being so transported to induce some separation of particles according to particle size. The system (10) further comprises means (13) for causing the granular material (12) to subsequently move as a granular flow (14) along a curved path (15) under the influence of gravity to further induce separation of particles according to particle size. The system (10) still further comprises means (16) for dividing the granular flow (14) moving along the curved path (15) into different streams (17) according to their trajectory.

DEVICE FOR SEPARATION AND REMOVAL IMPURITIES FROM GRANULAR MATERIAL
A device for separation and removal of light impurities from granular material has a cylindrical body, in the upper part of which is located a motor-driven fan that sucks air and an outlet channel for light impurities, below which there is axially mounted a feed channel connected to a container of granular material, and in the lower part of the body there is axially located a cylinder with an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter (d) of the body, containing a centrifugal guide located under the outlet of the feed channel, whereas below the centrifugal guide, on the inner wall of the cylinder are fixed uniformly spaced directing plates at a certain distance from each other, their ends being pointed towards the axis of the device, and between the body and the cylinder there is a chute for purified material. There is a plurality of openwork hinders.
VIBRATORY FEEDING DEVICE FOR COMPACT DEDUSTING APPARATUS
A compact dedusting apparatus for cleaning particulate materials of contaminates and has a housing defining a cleaning area in which the contaminants are removed to create cleaned particulate material with a product discharge opening through which cleaned particulate material can be discharged. The dedusting apparatus includes an infeed apparatus having a vibratory feed pan powered by a vibration generator to induce vibrations therein. The dedusting apparatus also includes a Venturi chamber to remove contaminants from the particulate material by a flow of air passing upwardly through the product discharge opening. The dedusting apparatus further includes an interchangeable carryover deflector having a chamber extension member that aligns with internal structure to control the flow of particulate material into said Venturi chamber and deflects particulate material entrained in the air flow through the Venturi chamber toward the product discharge opening. The carryover deflector incorporates an observation window to view the dedusting operation.
Sizing and separating granular particles
A system and method for sizing and separating granular particles within the bulk granular solids by creating a graded granular flow comprising multiple sized fractions with gradation of the particles according to particle size between relatively fine fractions and relatively coarse fractions; and capturing at least a portion of granular flow. The system (11) comprises means (25) for creating the graded granular flow, and means (30) for capturing at least a portion of the graded granular flow. The graded granular flow is split into separate streams, one of which is subsequently captured by intercepting that stream. The intercepted stream may be collected or redirected for further processing.
