METHOD, DEVICE AND INSPECTION LINE FOR THE OPTICAL READING OF RELIEFS ON A SIDE WALL OF A CONTAINER
The invention relates to a method of optically reading portions in relief on a side wall of a container (14), the method consisting in: using a light source to light a portion of interest with a peripheral incident light beam comprising non-parallel radial light rays; using specular reflection of the beam on the portion of interest and on the portions in relief (12) through an optical element (30) to form a plane image in the field of view of a two-dimensional photoelectric sensor (24); processing the image received by the sensor in order to detect the portions in relief; and causing the light source (34) that provides the peripheral incident light beam to move relative to the optical element in translation along the direction of the theoretical central axis (A1) in order to modify the contrast of the image received by the sensor between zones of the image that correspond to the portions in relief, and adjacent zones.
The invention also provides a visualisation device and a corresponding inspection line.
SORTING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SORTING PLATE-SHAPED OBJECTS, PREFERABLY GLASS PANEL CUT PIECES, METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING GLASS PANEL CUT PIECES WITH A SORTING DEVICE OF THIS TYPE
A sorting method and a sorting device for sorting glass panel cut pieces, as well as a device for producing cut-out glass panels with a cutting system for cutting raw glass panels into individual glass panel cut pieces, and with a sorting device of this type, as well as a method for producing cut-out glass panels.
AUTOMATED GRAINS INSPECTION
A management and control system is provided for a user to interface with an inspecting apparatus having at least one digital optical instrument. The management and control system comprises a processor configured to receive images from the at least one digital optical instrument, analyze the images, and transmit instructions to the inspecting apparatus, and a display configured to display analysis of the images wherein the user is capable of interfacing and providing instructions to the inspecting apparatus based on the analysis of the images, wherein the display simultaneously displays histograms and thumbnail-image generated in the processor based on the images. A method for controlling and managing the inspecting apparatus for items as well as an UI are disclosed.
NEXT GENERATION REWARD-GRANTING GLASS COLLECTION AND RECYCLING METHOD
The colored and transparent glass are separated and recycled by collecting them separately from the other packing wastes without exception of any brand and company. The glass is reintroduced to the economy, and a waste glass collection/recycling process motivates users by supplying advantages and particular rewards. The solution reduces total costs of recycling by offering a working method eliminating a Transfer to CSF (Collection-Separation Facility) and separation step after glass collection.

ITEM SORTING APPARATUS AND INTERFACES THEREFOR
Systems and methods are described for generating an interface that allows users to select and categorize particular waste items in real-time, for subsequent automated sorting. For example, detecting and identifying waste items, presenting them on a display, and allowing users to select items from the display and categorize them by selecting and dragging highlighted items to appropriate category affordances presented on the display.
Method, device and inspection line for the optical reading of reliefs on a side wall of a container
A method, device, and inspection line for optically reading portions in relief on a side wall of a container, includes using a light source to light a portion of interest with a peripheral incident light beam comprising non-parallel radial light rays and using specular reflection of the beam on the portion of interest and on the portions in relief through an optical element to form a plane image in the field of view of a two-dimensional photoelectric sensor. The image received by the sensor is processed in order to detect the portions in relief to cause the light source that provides the peripheral incident light beam to move relative to the optical element in translation along the direction of a theoretical central axis to modify the contrast of the image received by the sensor between zones of the image that correspond to the portions in relief and adjacent zones.

SORTING OUT WASTE GLASS CULLET WITH A HIGHER IRON OXIDE CONTENT
Method and sorting system for sorting out waste glass cullet with a higher content of iron oxide from a single-layer material stream of waste glass cullet. The material stream contains waste glass cullet with a higher and a lower content of iron oxide. The material stream is irradiated with visible light and the visible transmission light passing through the waste glass cullet is detected, the material stream is irradiated with infrared light in a frequency range of at least 1100-1200 nm and the infrared transmission light passing through the waste glass cullet is detected, a waste glass cullet is classified as having a higher content of iron oxide if the ratio of the intensity of the infrared transmission light to the intensity of the visible transmission light exceeds or falls below a predetermined threshold value, and the cullet classified in this way is separated from other waste glass cullet.
