Pharmacy order processing system container sorting devices and related methods

An order processing system, such as may be used in a high-volume pharmacy, may include a material handling system, an accumulator, and a packing device. The material handling system may move containers through a plurality of container paths. The container sorting device may receive the containers, scan the plurality of containers to detect container identifiers, and separate the containers based on the container identifiers to travel through a first container exit path or a second container exit path. The accumulator may accumulate containers that traveled through the first container exit path and the second container exit path. The accumulator may include an accumulator scanning device for scanning the containers to detect the container identifiers. The accumulator may group the containers together based on the detected container identifiers and orders, and provide the grouped containers. The packing device may package the grouped containers along with literature associated with the orders.

Separating device

A separating device for separating a continuous single piece of material into individual work pieces includes an supporting block, a moving assembly, a separating assembly and an controller. The supporting block defines a feeding portion for the single material to pass through. The moving assembly is connected to the feeding portion and blows into the feeding portion to push individual work pieces to move along the feeding portion. The separating assembly is positioned on the supporting block. The controller is positioned on either side of the supporting block for recording and signaling the creation of an individual work piece. When the controller signals another work piece, the first separating element presses a following work piece.

The present disclosure is in the technical field of dent detection in canisters. Accurate and consistent detection of dents in canisters has been a problem in the industry for some time. The present disclosure describes an apparatus and method that addresses this technical problem in a repeatable and easily implemented manner. There is provided a dent detection apparatus including a conduit dimensioned to be the maximum allowable diameter of a canister, a transportation portion for transporting a canister through the conduit and a rotation portion for rotating the canister as it passes through the conduit. A sensor detects when a canister stops rotating and gets stuck in the conduit and alerts the user. Thus faulty canisters can be detected and removed from production.

COMPONENT TRANSFER DEVICE

A component transfer device includes an integration path through which both of a regular component and a defective component are to be transported, and a sorting gauge that is provided at the downstream end of the integration path and sorts the regular component and the defective component. A discharge path through which the defective component passes extends to incline in the width direction of the integration path. The sorting gauge includes a gauge body, a sorting path extending through the gauge body and into which the regular component is allowed to advance while the defective component is not allowed to advance, and a guide surface that is disposed at the gauge body so as to spread toward the discharge path and that guides the defective component to the discharge path when the defective component comes into contact with the guide surface.

An aggregate production method includes procuring stone waste by-products, sorting the stone waste by-products by type and color, and subjecting the sorted stone waste by-products to a two-stage crushing process to produce aggregate. The aggregate is screened into different sizes and placed according to size into a bag or container.

METHOD FOR TREATING WASTE ELECTRONIC SUBSTRATE

A method for treating waste printed circuit board includes carbonizing waste printed circuit board together with a calcium compound at 400° C. to 600° C. in a non-oxidizing atmosphere to fix a halogen contained in the board as calcium halide and to melt a solder of the board to allow mounted parts to be easily separated from the board, performing crushing after the carbonizing, and sieving crushed materials into fine particles of less than 0.5 mm containing the calcium compounds, medium particles containing the mounted parts, and coarse particles containing board pieces such that the crushed materials are sorted into the calcium compounds, the mounted parts, and the board pieces.
