Bending method
A workpiece material is fed between rollers to bend the workpiece material while rolling, wherein the workpiece has a first thickness portion and a second thickness portion connected to each other with a setting angle of 90 degrees. The first thickness portion increases from an inner side toward an outer side, and a thickness on an outer peripheral side of the first thickness portion is M, and a thickness of a cross section of the second thickness portion is N. The workpiece material is rolled in such that at a completion of bending, a thickness of a cross section of a first thickness portion is m, an outer radius of the first thickness portion is R, an inner radius of the first thickness portion is r, and a thickness of a cross section of a second thickness portion is n, and M equals to m(R/r), and N equals to n(R/r).

METHOD FOR PRODUCING H-SHAPED STEEL
In the case of rolling and shaping a raw blank in a shape different from a conventional one in flat shaping and rolling implemented after edging rolling, flat shaping and rolling of a large-size raw blank is performed without bringing about problems such as elongation in a web height direction and deformation of a flange corresponding part, thereby efficiently and stably producing an H-shaped steel product having a larger flange width as compared with the conventional one. A method for producing H-shaped steel, the method includes: a rough rolling step; an intermediate rolling step; and a finish rolling step, wherein: the rough rolling step includes: an edging rolling step of rolling and shaping a material to be rolled into a predetermined almost dog-bone shape; and a flat rolling step of performing rolling of a web part with the material to be rolled after completion of the edging rolling step rotated 90° or 270°; upper and lower caliber rolls of at least one caliber of calibers configured to perform the flat rolling step include recessed parts configured to form a raised part at a middle of a web part of the material to be rolled, the recessed parts being provided at roll barrel length middle parts of the upper and lower caliber rolls; and a side surface inclination angle α of the formed raised part is set to 30° or more.

Steel section rolling mill
A section mill (10) for the rolling of steel sections is disclosed. The section mill includes a universal mill stand (12) and an edger mill stand (14) for rolling a workpiece (18) in a plurality of back-and-forth passes into a steel section having a web and one or more flanges. The section mill further includes a cooling arrangement (16) for cooling the workpiece while it undergoes rolling during one or more of the passes. The cooling arrangement includes a cooling box (20) having a spray head (21) with spray openings (22) for spraying jets of pressurized cooling liquid against the workpiece. The cooling arrangement further includes an actuator (38, 34) configured to move the cooling box relative to the stand frame (58) of the universal mill stand and/or of the edger mill stand for adjusting a distance between the spray openings and the workpiece.
