A modular rolling train, particularly a hot rolling train, preferably in conjunction with an upstream casting facility, and a method for operating a modular rolling train are described. The rolling train is standardized and modularized by dividing the rolling train into discrete units n and by modularization of the discrete units. The rolling train can be flexibly adapted to new requirements by exchanging a module.

A hot-rolling stand (10) for a hot-rolling mill comprises an adjusting device (12), which is intended for receiving a pair of work rolls (17) and for positioning work rolls (18, 19; 20, 21) of the pair of work rolls (17) in relation to one another to define a roll gap. In order to create a hot-rolling stand (10) that can be adapted as flexibly as possible, the adjusting device (12) is designed to interchangeably accommodate, in the pair of work rolls (17), different roll diameter ranges by means of mutually complementary work rolls (18, 19; 20, 21).

MULTI-STAND ROLLING MILL FOR ROD-SHAPED BODIES COMPRISING THREE MOTORIZED-ROLLERS STANDS
The present invention relates to a multi-stand rolling mill for tubular bodies. The rolling mill comprises a first section for rolling on mandrel defined by a first plurality of rolling stands arranged in sequence along a rolling axis. According to the invention, the rolling mill also comprises a second rolling section without mandrel, arranged downstream of said first section, which comprises a second plurality of stands arranged in sequence along said rolling axis. Each stand of said second section comprises three rollers having rotation axes which are arranged at 120? from one another. The rotation axes for each stand are rotated by 180? with respect to corresponding rotation axes of an adjacent stand. According to the invention, at least one stand of said second section comprises a motorized roller having a vertical rotation axis.

DOUBLE-SIDED ULTRASONIC ROLLING COOPERATIVE STRENGTHENING SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A double-sided ultrasonic rolling cooperative strengthening system and a control method thereof are provided. The system includes a first mechanical arm subsystem, a second mechanical arm subsystem, a first ultrasonic rolling strengthening subsystem, a second ultrasonic rolling strengthening subsystem and a servo turntable (13); the servo turntable (13) is configured to fix a blade to be processed; the first ultrasonic rolling strengthening subsystem is provided at an end of the first mechanical arm subsystem; and the second ultrasonic rolling strengthening subsystem is provided at an end of the second mechanical arm subsystem. The way that the mechanical arm is equipped with an ultrasonic rolling strengthening device improves a degree of freedom of processing the blade, and the first mechanical arm subsystem, the second mechanical arm subsystem, the first ultrasonic rolling strengthening subsystem, the second ultrasonic rolling strengthening subsystem and the servo turntable (13) are provided to cooperate to realize double-sided processing.
Rolling unit
Rolling unit including at least two adjacent rolling stands, each having a pair of rolling rolls mounted on respective motorized shafts. The rolls of one rolling stand are disposed orthogonal and close to those of the adjacent rolling stand. The shafts are eccentrically supported in respective support elements, which are selectively rotatable around their axis and are each provided with rotation means to cooperate mechanically with an adjustment member suitable to make the support elements selectively rotate to determine an adjustment of the gap between the rolls. The rotation means of one pair of the support elements are directly connected kinematically to each other. The adjustment member is disposed, with respect to the rolling stands, so that the center of its gear lies very close to the line joining the centers of the support elements, so that a substantial part is contained in the bulk defined by the rolling stand.
Double-sided ultrasonic rolling cooperative strengthening system and control method thereof
A double-sided ultrasonic rolling cooperative strengthening system and a control method thereof are provided.
