Post-forming method and apparatus
One aspect of the invention concerns a metallic bar or post (15) comprising a longitudinal axis; a spine (16) extending along the longitudinal axis; and at least three interconnected arms (17-19), each of which extends along the spine (16) and generally radially from the spine (16), with a free end (20-22) of each said arm (17-19) being tapered in the direction of the free end (20-22) to the spine (16). Other aspects of the invention concern a roll stand and rolling mill for forming the bar or post (15).
Rolling Stand For Metal Products
Rolling stand for oblong metal products comprising a plurality of rolling rolls (11) each installed on a respective rotation shaft (12), between at least one rotation shaft (12) and the respective rolling roll (11). A coupling member (15) is provided and is configured to couple the rolling roll (11) and the rotation shaft (12) to each other. The coupling member (15) comprises a tubular body (16) interposed between the rolling roll (11) and the rotation shaft (12) and provided with a chamber (17) in which a deformer element (18) is inserted mobile.
Method And Apparatus For Rolling Metal Products
Method for rolling metal products comprising a plurality of sequential rolling passes during which a metal product (P) is rolled. The method comprises a first rolling pass of the metal product (P) to obtain a first intermediate product (P1), a second rolling pass of the first intermediate product (P1) to obtain a second intermediate product (P2), a third rolling pass of the second intermediate product (P2) to obtain a third intermediate product (P3), a fourth rolling pass of the third intermediate product (P3) to obtain a final rolled product (L).
APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING SURFACE OF WORKPIECE
An apparatus for processing the surface of a workpiece includes: a first rotating body connected to a first rotating shaft and including a first protruding portion connected to a part of the outer circumference thereof; a second rotating body connected to a second rotating shaft and including a second protruding portion connected to a part of the outer circumference thereof; and a third rotating body connected to a third rotating shaft and including a third protruding portion connected to a part of the outer circumference thereof, wherein the first to third rotating shafts are in the same plane, a first angle between the first and second rotating shafts, a second angle between the first and third rotating shafts, and a third angle between the second and third rotating shafts are identical, outer circumferences of the first to third rotating shafts adjacent to one another form a pathway through which a workpiece can pass, and the size of the pathway is adjusted by moving the first rotating body.
Three-roll rolling mill stand with side change with respect to the rolling line
A roll-holder cartridge for a three-tube rolling stand with means adapted to release a tube during rolling in case of emergency. The roll-holder cartridge (3) has on both side walls a substantially Y-shaped opening (10) laying with the foot at the vertical axis yoke support so as to be able to pull out the roll-holder cartridge according to a direction coinciding with the horizontal axis of the vertical axis yoke while leaving the support hanging from the fixed structure (13) of the rolling stand. In case of normal maintenance operation, the cartridge (3) is pulled out sideways from the structure of the rolling mill with the yoke support of the vertical axis roll anchored to the cartridge itself, like the other supports of the rolls.
Three-rolling stand with lateral change
A method and a device for releasing a tube during a rolling process in a three-roll rolling stand in case of an emergency. The roll holder cartridge (3) has a longitudinal open slot (10) at the yoke support of the vertical axis roll so as to remove the roll holder cartridge according to a direction coinciding with the horizontal axis of the yoke support of the vertical axis roll while the support remains anchored to the fixed structure in the stand of the roll mill. In case of routine maintenance, the cartridge (3) is pulled out laterally with the yoke support of the vertical axis roll anchored to the cartridge itself as the other roll supports.
THREEFOLD ROTATIONALLY SYMMETRICAL STAND HAVING AN ADJUSTMENT CONNECTOR
The present application relates to a stand (1) for rolling metal rods, wires or pipes along a rolling axis (19), which stand comprises a stand housing (10), the outside (12) of which, viewed along the rolling axis (19), comprises at least six side surfaces (14.1-14.6) that are arranged so as to be offset about the rolling axis, about a 60 rotation in each case, wherein in each case two side surfaces (14.1, 14.4, 14.2, 14.5, 14.3, 14.6) form a pair of side surfaces (14.1-14.6) that are located in parallel with one another. It further comprises three rollers (20.1-20.3) which are positioned on one roller shaft in each case, surround the rolling axis (19) in a star-shaped manner, and together form a caliber (21), and the radial position of which, based on the rolling axis (19), can be set for setting the caliber (21), and an adjustment connector (30) that is arranged on the outside (12) and is intended for introducing an adjustment torque for setting the caliber (21).
