A pressing tool part for eliminating a flatness defect on a flat semi-finished product provided with a pressing surface facing the flat semi-finished product. The pressing tool includes part half segments separated from each other by a material weakening, which are connected to one another on the one hand to by an elastically bendable bending bridge region of the pressing tool part, and on the other hand to a common actuator in order to elastically deform the pressing surface of the pressing tool part as a function of the flatness defect.
Method and computer program product for setting the bending of at least one straightening roller of a roller straightening machine
In a method for setting bending of at least one straightening roller in a roller straightening machine, the straightening roller is supported by a plurality of supporting roller devices arranged beside one another in the axial direction, wherein each supporting roller device can be adjusted by an actuating device such that stresses are produced in the straightening roller. To control the actuating device, a control system is provided, by which the adjustment of the supporting roller device can be set manually. Limiting values (vMA, vMI) with respect to the stresses produced in the straightening roller are stored in the control system. In the event of adjustment of one of the supporting roller devices, maxima (MA) and minima (MI) of the stresses produced in the straightening roller are calculated and it is checked whether the maxima (MA) and minima (MI) lie within the limiting values (vMA, vMI).
Positioning drive shaft support for roller leveler
A roller leveler assembly has a first cassette having a first set of work rolls of a first diameter and work roll spacing and a second cassette having a second set of work rolls of a second diameter and work roll spacing. A drive mechanism selectively drives one of the first cassette of the first set of rolls and the second cassette of the second set of rolls. The drive mechanism has a first set of upper drive shafts and a second set of lower drive shafts and a drive shaft support assembly. The drive shaft support assembly has a first support shaft for supporting the first set of upper drive shafts and a second support shaft for supporting the second set of lower drive shafts. The first support shaft and second support shaft each has a first set of saddles and a second set of saddles for supporting the first set of upper drive shafts and the second set of lower drive shafts in first and second positions corresponding to the work roll center spacing of the first set of work rolls and the second set of work rolls, respectively.

Apparatus for straightening metal products comprising: at least one rotation shaft on which at least one straightening roll is installed in a selectively removable manner; a first structure provided with at least a first support member configured to hold and support a first end of the rotation shaft; a second structure provided with at least a second support member configured to selectively support and hold a second end, opposite the first end, of the rotation shaft; a movement member configured to move the second structure toward/away from the first structure and to allow the installation or removal of the straightening roll from the rotation shaft.
STRETCHING-BENDING-STRAIGHTENING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF THE ACTUATION THEREOF
In a stretching-bending-straightening system and a method for the actuation thereof, material in strip form is fed to a high-tension region (50) and a low-tension region (52), wherein the low-tension region (52) is arranged downstream of the high-tension region (50). A bending-straightening unit is arranged in the high-tension region (50). A measuring system determines first measured values in the high-tension region (50). A controller (C) is intended and suitable for determining a deviation of the first measured values from a setpoint value of the bending-straightening result and for determining at least one manipulated variable for the bending-straightening unit in dependence on the determined deviation within a first closed control loop. By additionally providing at least one measuring system for determining second measured values in the low-tension region, by having a controller (C) intended and suitable for determining a deviation of the second measured values from the setpoint value of the bending-straightening result and for determining the at least one manipulated variable in dependence on the determined deviation within a second closed control loop, and by providing selecting means that are intended and suitable for selecting the first or second closed control loop for reducing the deviation of the first and/or second measured values from the predetermined or predeterminable setpoint value, a stretching-bending-straightening system and a method for the actuation thereof are designed in such a way that the quality of the strips processed thereby is increased.
METHOD, APPARATUS AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR SETTING THE BENDING OF AT LEAST ONE STRAIGHTENING ROLLER OF A ROLLER STRAIGHTENING MACHINE
In a method for setting bending of at least one straightening roller in a roller straightening machine, the straightening roller is supported by a plurality of supporting roller devices arranged beside one another in the axial direction, wherein each supporting roller device can be adjusted by an actuating device such that stresses are produced in the straightening roller. To control the actuating device, a control system is provided, by which the adjustment of the supporting roller device can be set manually. Limiting values (vMA, vMI) with respect to the stresses produced in the straightening roller are stored in the control system. In the event of adjustment of one of the supporting roller devices, maxima (MA) and minima (MI) of the stresses produced in the straightening roller are calculated and it is checked whether the maxima (MA) and minima (MI) lie within the limiting values (vMA, vMI).
ROLLER LEVELER AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SAME
The invention relates to a roller leveler (1) having a set of upper and lower flattening rollers (2), wherein each flattening roller (2) is provided with a rotary drive (3) actuated by leveler control (4) for rotating the flattening roller (2) to advance a to-be-flattened metallic flat material in a forward direction (F) and, thereby, flatten the flat, metallic material. To achieve an improved and optimal flattening result, the invention proposes that each flattening roller (2) has a first rotary drive (L.sub.1, L.sub.2 . . . L.sub.n) for driving one axial end of the flattening roller (2), and a second rotary drive (R.sub.1, R.sub.2 . . . R.sub.n) for driving one axial end of the flattening roller (2) and a second rotary drive (R.sub.1, R.sub.2 . . . R.sub.n) for driving the other end of the flattening roller, wherein the leveler controller (4) is designed to apply a parameter determining the direction of rotation of the flattening roller (2) to the first and second rotary drives (L.sub.1, L.sub.2 . . . L.sub.n, R.sub.1, R.sub.2 . . . R.sub.n) individually based on a pre-set value. The invention also relates to a method of operating a roller leveler of this kind.

Hot-forming apparatus and method for producing press-hardened shaped components from steel sheet
A hot-forming apparatus may be used to produce a press-hardened shaped component from a blank. The hot-forming apparatus may include a furnace for heating the blank and a pressing device for forming and cooling the blank heated in the furnace. The hot-forming apparatus also includes, upstream of the furnace, a preheating roll truing device with a temperature-controllable roller for straightening and preheating the blank. A corresponding method may be used to produce the press-hardened shaped component from the blank.
